Why do girls think lip filler looks good?

I recently met this lady. And I think she tried to flirt with me, and all I can think of is how gross lip filler looks. So I just had a straight face as she was smiling. I felt bad, but no way that women think it actually looks good😂.

I think the thing about these trends is they may be odd but somehow someone somewhere likes it. Like in some countries ladies weird long rings in their necks nicknames giraffe women 🦒 and another where they wear big clay disks/plates in their lips. All those are jewelry forms. I said WOW 😳 and wondered how they could think it even looked good, but then I thought of most other cultures where women wear earrings… it’s the stupidest thing ever really. All of these trends stem from boredom I believe if not only that also with insecurities. I don't know just HOW they get started, who starts and why and who follows and why… but it’s usually the same root cause (s). And it’s all kinda silly.

We like to wear things… 🤷‍♀️ men and women. Jewelry; paints; tattoos. Etc etc. we want things bigger or shiny and all. Draw attention to genitalia or sex related functioning body parts or so. If not sexual related. Ofc beauty related. People trying to redefine and then redefine and then redefine… lol and change up the trends.

Somehow.. SOMEHOW women may think it makes them pretty and somehow some of them believe it will be more sexually appealing. I wonder why some guys would hate it though cause wouldn’t that just mean a more cushioned bj? lol I don’t see how they’d have complaints, but then again MARRYING someone like that or talking to them every day, and they look like they have one hot dog 🌭 tied to each lip… in an obnoxious way seems… difficult.. 😂 I don’t know how we’ll be able to keep our species going if we really vandalize our self images and look crazy. Aliens if they ever came would see sculptures of us and think we were different aliens ourselves seeing we lacked no resemblance to our former parts. 😭

I've noticed that a lot of women have no clue what men actually like -- even tho you would think they would be experts. So a woman will say another woman is ugly, when 99% of men think she's hot. Or she will say another woman is sexy when 99% of men think she's a dog.

She could actually think her lips look great like she claims the fugly woman next to her looks great. Maybe a lot of women have a shared delusion from the male POV.

I think sometimes they get botched surgery and then pretend to like it because that's better than admitting that they were an idiot.

Oh shit, yeah. That reminds me, same happened to me at a Christmas party. I felt some mutual interest and then the lips just threw me off. Besides, she was angry and resentful so lucky escape I say.

It's interesting how people claim to dislike fillers and all kinds of plastic surgery and advocate for natural beauty, while at the same time they idealize and hail celebrities, who wear tons of makeup and have had tons of surgical procedures, as the pinnacle of beauty. A lot of things that end up beauty standards did so because somebody invented a product and needed a way to sell it, making people feel ugly for not using it is one way they try to do that.
People think they can just ignore ads, but if ads didn't work then they wouldn't be funding so many things for so many years.

I'm 40 and I think fillers are awful.  I have a friend who recently got it done and it made her look worse. Not all women like them. I've never had botox, fillers or surgery. Never would either.

Filler can look good on certain women if done correctly!  I don't have any because I'm scared to put anything in my face. Facial yoga and pumping lip products work just as well.
