I love the female body. But I'm not sure that when they wear revealing clothes all the time, that they are being respectful to the nature of sex. What I mean is, it is kinda like allowing a dog to smell food, but then telling the dog you can't have any. If you think about it, a long long long time ago, women wore dresses, and the clothing was more for practical use. Men worked out doors, so they needed something that worked that way, and helped protect what needed to be protected. A woman wore something that covered her up. It looked feminine but it didn't let everything hang out like today. People didn't have the attitude of if you got it flaunt it. But our society has got that attitude now. "It's my right to do what I want."

unless it's prostitute wear or it's someone that's too old to dress like that, generally it's because that's just what's trendy and normal for women to wear. i've always worn mini skirts and short dresses (not absurdely short though, normal short), and i've done that because so far that's what people my age are supposed to wear if they dont wear pants everyday. that's what's in the shops. also in general women in their 'attractive' years are expected to show some skin. if you dont people think you're frumpy or badly dressed, and tell you to 'dress better" aka show more.

it look good and I'm always crazy warm, I do not support anything over 20 degree to me it feel like it's 35 degree and I'm in shorts and tank top when it's 10 degree outside, my body just run like a freaking furnace so I'm always dress in little clothes becuase of how warm I get

It's literally not any deeper than "they just simply like it."

For hot climates revealing clothes have a more practical purpose. You might have to apply a little more sunscreen but I'd say it's worth it for the comfort and airflow. I myself wear pretty short shorts in hot weather and apply more sunscreen. So I can relate to women on that.

Sometimes revealing clothes might just simply look cuter or more flattering. Like showing your legs in short shorts, miniskirts, minidresses, whatever, etc, can make your legs look longer than if you covered up your legs. Especially if your legs are already short to begin with, you wouldn't wanna make them look even shorter.

And this applies to a very small overall percentage of women, but... for sexual attention. They do it with the intention to draw eyes to their body. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, but the vast majority of women just dress that way for comfort or cuteness. They aren't doing it for the intention of drawing attention.

My girlfriend is one of those women who wears revealing clothes. Even in the winter. I sometimes tease her about it (in a playful way) but it's just comfort and she think it looks cute. And I don't disagree. To be fair most of the year is really hot where I live, but even on cold winter days she still dresses the same.

But yeah. All of those reasons still just basically boil down to "they just simply like it." That's basically the long and short of it. Lol.

Oh come on, you need other people to tell you that most of us live in a patriarchal society that objectifies women as a sexual commodity? A young woman's value (18-30) is largely determined by her looks. Hollywood, social media, porn, and male culture reinforces that idea from birth. We train little girls to be obsessed with their looks. And you're surprised when they grow up to become obsessed with their looks and show off their bodies to get positive attention from males and other women they compete with? Holy crap, you're either living in denial, or blind to what's going on around you. Or worse, you're being a hypocrite and condemning them for playing by the rules they didn't get to vote on. Not cool dude. Time to wake up and take a look around you.

@halil-y I knew it, and my girlfriend always confirmed it or me, - in that women - god love em' can be 'penis teasers' and I like it - when the "teaser' knows and understands that I find it titillating and exciting.

That is part of the 'game' that women play, and I, for one, am not 'resentful' of the fact that women do that for the obvious reason of testing out their sexuality, and attractiveness

The only 'down' side to that is the problem that too many men look at those bare butt cheeks as a 'come on' and try to take advantage of the situation, and THAT can be dangerous for a woman.

As a younger guy, I would have been angry or resentful of a girl being a tease like that, but when she 'knows' that I know' her intent, I understand and enjoy the view.

I think there could be a few facets.

Despite what they say and put on tiktok, women do like being admired by men. Revealing clothing is an easy way of getting men's attention. They wouldn't smile at us for looking and they wouldn't use shop windows as mirrors to check if we are still looking once they have walked past if they truly didn't like it.

Clothes such as short skirts are fairly much a uniform and is just what women wear.

If they have spent a lot of time in the gym working on their body than why wouldn't they want to show the results off? It has taken them a lot of discipline to get into good shape.

There is probably intra sex power play going on. The best looking women are at the top of the pyramid and wearing revealing clothing is a declaration they are better than other girls.

I don't think they necessarily do this to attract men's attention, as some of the comments suggested, but rather they're following or trying to keep up with fashion trends that they see on social media or in the streets.. They don't wanna feel left out, old-fashioned, or like they're wearing dated clothes, since in our shallow society, appearance and fashion are considered a form of social capital and influence the way, you're perceived and treated by others (as more youthful, sophisticated, refined, wealthy etc.)

Society teaches them that it’s okay. When it’s “too revealing” then it’s just used as an excuse to harass them. We need to accept that we shouldn’t control others and let women wear what they want, do their hair how they want, etc.

Like back in the 1800s, women’s wear was less revealing and more restrictive which emphasis on concealing the female form. 1900s roles around and women progressively start showing their bodies, not only that but after awhile the men start wearing less restrictive clothing too from suits to t shirts also shorts instead of tailored pants as everyday wear.

False premise. Guys  like  women in revealing clothes. It shows both confidence and sexuality. It screams, "I am a high-value female! See my fitness, my long shiny hair, my good skin!"
