Why do girls wear revealing clothes?

My girlfriend always dresses nice around me but always wears deep neck dresses while out with her friends or just anywhere without me. When confronted her about this she said "I thought you wouldn't like me dressed that way". Which makes me wonder why do women dress that way? Although I do get a bit jealous, not by the way she dresses but because she wouldn't do that around me.

Girls dress revealing because they love their bodies and want guys to know it. When you say revealing, I wonder what you mean? I have no issue wearing shorts (as long as your ass is not showing, THAT is too revealing). Wearing a V-neck that shows a bit of booby is okay too, after all, a girl who's felt insecure all her life gets a body that she finally accepts and wants a little attention is totally normal. I'd dress like that too if I had boobs and If I was 20 pounds lighter. With that being said, there is a firm line between fashion/tastefulness and downright skanky/trashy. I would not show my ass, no matter how hot I looked, or show too much cleavage, or wear any skirt that goes waayy above the knee. Those girls, I honestly don't know what kind of attention they're seeking. In the end, it is their body, you don't own it, so they can wear whatever they please. Although I can understand your issue with your girlfriend. If she dresses feminine/sexy with a touch of class, fine, leave her be, but if she dresses scantily, then you have the right to feel this way. Let her know how you feel. If she doesn't get it, you should just go buy yourself some ass hugging skinny jeans and then go out with your men buddies to the club, without her.

In my experience some girls dress up like that with friends cause thats how they dress. So for example; going to the club with my girls. there's usually a conversation about what we're wearing.. is it a comfy leggings outing, or are we feeling like dressing up? If someone is wearing a "slutty" outfit chances are the rest of us are bringing out our revealing clothes too.
Some may dress like that to impress or flaunt their stuff but honestly in my experience its more of a "my friends look good so i wanna look good too"

It could be simple as they like the clothing! For example for giros like me that have big boobs when you wear cute shirts that every other girl wears (not considered slutty when they wear it since they don’t have huge boobs) but if you do it’ll look really revealing, so it comes down to liking the outfit. When I'm at home i don't dressed up as a star because I trust the person in my house to don't judge me and accept me the way i am. But when i go out (not everytime for my part) i care about what people think maybe to much so now I try to be pretty. And it's not because I want all eyes on me.
Much of the time a have too large T-shirt but guys some of you can get it I'm sure. Everyone want to be seen as his best in public. But like I said... That depend on the comportment with the outfit. And probably we just need to get reinsure and work on our self-esteem at the end.
