Is $500 budget good amount to invest in clothes for only one time shopping once or every two years?

I am not cheap I am frugal which is two different now. I have lost a lot of weight after working out for one year I went from size 22 to size 10 and I feel incredibly comfortable with myself. I clothes no longer fit me all baggy. Now I have a budget but I only shop once every two years or so. I only wear black bottoms so that way it's easier. Do you think $500 dollars for a one time clothing shopping is enough or is it way to much. I'm going to consignment stores I don't shop at expensive luxury store none of that. The only reason I plan on going store shopping my clothes no longer fit me properly. After this investment I will not be buying clothes.

Just go out and buy some clothes, stop thinking about it so much. You're not planning the D-Day invasion haha. Are you going to waste days of time and gas driving around to 20 different stores to piece together a wardrobe of used clothes? You're going to find like 1 pair of good pants and 2 shirts at each store.

Hey girlsaskguys best friend. I actually have a wardrobe in mind. I decided to buy all black bottoms with no logos or designs just plain solid black nothing fancy lol. I am still making my research of where it's cheaper. What do advice me? Or should I just go to the mall walk and take a look around for the shirts and tops? I don't know anything about buying women's clothes, I just buy men's work clothes. Treat yourself and buy some nice stuff that will last but not some overpriced designer bullshit, you know what I'm talking about

In today's world, that's not going to buy much, unless you visit thrift shops.

If I was spending that amount, I would go to a thrift store in a good neighborhood, people drop off new designer clothes every day. Better yet, volunteer there and you get first pick of what comes in before the customers see it, usually for free.

Sounds like you had some good ideas in store and set a limit but always be able to review what you get and be able to move it a bit up or down depending on the needs of your clothes.

Depending on your work attire and needs some things may need to be replaced sooner than that timeline.
