Are these boots too dressy for this dress?

I am attending an outdoor Veteran's Day Assembly in the States in Nov. It is supposed to be rather casual and can be rather warm here this time of year. My question is would these boots be a bit too dressy for this dress? Maybe some sneakers or booties? What do you think? Thanks.

Not at all, they look fine. Hard to see the boot color because of the lighting, but they seem to bring out the gray in the dress.
