Have claw clips for hair made a comeback?

I have long hair in the southern part of the USA. I wore the bun makers or put my hair in a pony tail during hot weather. Lately, I have been noticing a lot of girls wearing the claw clips to keep their long hair up. Somebody told me that they were back in stores. Fashion does go in cycles.
