Here it is just called a cover up. They are usually made of a breathable fabric and lightweight. I have many of them much like she wears in that video. Unless I am laying in the sun I usually have one on over my swimwear. There are lots of reasons for them but the main one is just as something to block the sun when I don't want it. I also wear a big sun hat quite a bit for the same reason. While I like the sun and do lay out t I tan I do it in very small doses. Along with sunscreen a cover-up helps keep the harmful rays off my skin. The cover ups that I have are made of a UV blocking material.
