Men, should they keep or shave armpit hair?

I have been shaving my armpits for the last 6 years until last fall. I decided to have armpit hair for 2026 summer because I wear sleeveless tops all summer long and I wanted to see how different hairy armpits affect my summer. It has been so long I forgot. However, the other day in the shower I said screw this and shaved my pits. I like having smooth armpits, what are everyone's opinions. Women grow hair in their armpits too so don't give me the masculine feminine cop out argument.

I trim mine on account of i keep messing up shaving it and forming annoying shave burns and such.

But if you somehow pulled it off, I say go for it. It'll make cleaning, applying deodorant and I suspect it'll help with sweat as well.

So I wouldn't worry about being judged for your shaving your pits and I doubt girls would feel bothered by it

I used to shave them for swimming. A ton of maintenance as I have hairy pits. Natural for me these days, I’m fine with it either way but like not shaving and like hairy pits with sleeveless tops

Body hair isn’t a moral issue, it’s just preference and comfort. Some guys love the clean feel and less odor, others like keeping it natural or just trimming. None of it makes you more or less “masculine.” Do what feels good, looks good to you, and fits your routine.

Keep. I shaved my armpits once and within a day I had scratchy stubble that was very irritating.

I can shave them with just a razor no shaving cream in the shower in about under 2 minutes and they stay silky smooth for about 3 days
