Are Blue Jeans 👖 and Black Jeans Still In Style?

I bought my first pair of blue jeans 👖 when I was 12 and I still love wearing them to this day.
You can wear just about anything and it bleeds in with jeans.
Black jeans became popular in the 80's, and I started wearing them more than the blue jeans.
In my 30's until age 45, I wore size
16 Regular size little girls jeans. I was tiny and the Lee jeans fit perfectly.

Actually, blue jeans are my favorite type of pants/trousers to wear. They are sturdy, resisting wear and tear and look good on just about anyone. Of course, the different types of styles are important, depending on how you look and like them to be.

You may not want to wear a very tight pair of jeans if you are overweight but a more loose, straight leg jeans.

I think you can' really go wrong by wearing jeans. They look fashionable and young and are also a good choice for middle aged women. I must honestly confess that I have seldom seen a senior citizen wear jeans, maybe by fear to be the subject of silly comments by youngsters that believe that jeans is typically only a garment worn by younger people.

No one has ever questioned me about wearing jeans at my age.
Men my age still wear them, so it should be okay for women to do the same. Right? 👍🏼

There is no age to wear anything as long as YOU feel comfortable with it and that other people's opinions don't matter.

I still wear blue jeans most days. Often I wear black jeans. They are great. Durable. Don't require ironing normally. I just bought a new pair a couple of days ago and it has side pockets for tools. Not that I'll use those pockets for tools but it looks cool. LOL

In the area where I live, you can even wear blue jeans on “evenings out”. Probably not in a “white table cloth” restaurant, but anything besides that is fine for blue jeans here.

I doubt we’ll get to a point where the norm is for everyone to wear purple or yellow jeans


The cuts might change over the year, low, high, skinny, baggy.
But the colors blue and black are still top 2

I have worn jeans since I was a teenager, since I made the decisions of what to wear. Probably not as a kid.

I will wear jeans till I'm past my retirement age. They are comfortable. I don't really care about fashion anyway.

I'm probably not a typical girl when it comes to fashion - I don't follow fashion trends and I've always worn what was comfortable for me. I only have a few pairs of jeans, both blue and black. I generally prefer dark ones - they don't get dirty as much
