As a Turk, I disagree. They're not my type, but Turks are a diverse people. Because of their Central Asian ancestry, many Turks tend to have softer, rounder facial features than Greeks or Italians. Some have large eyes, while others have almond-shaped eyes.

On the other hand, there are also Balkan immigrants, Circassians, Laz, and Kurds.

Many Turkish men enjoy criticizing Turkish women, and likewise, many Turkish women enjoy criticizing Turkish men. The person who conducted the study could have been a Turkish woman, but I highly doubt it was a Turkish man

Actually, the Aegean coast carries a bit more Central Asian Turkic ancestry, as many people there are of Yörük descent. If you've been to İzmir, you'll know that relatively few residents are actually native to the city. It has a large population of Balkan immigrants, including Bosniaks and Balkan Turks. On top of that, many people have moved there from the surrounding provinces, and there is also a sizable Kurdish population

Yes, you could say that. There is a perception in Turkey that immigrant girls are attractive. On the other hand, İzmir has been Anatolia's most elite city since the 1650s. It was home to wealthy Jewish merchants of Spanish origin, Levantines, Greeks, wealthier Turks, and a smaller Armenian community. Of course, there are virtually no non-Muslims left there in that sense today. But I would still say it is Turkey's most secular city. Its political voting patterns are also very different from those of the rest of Turkey

Not really, I think there is just a Turkish beauty hype thanks to the Turkish series lovers. Especially Indians and Pakistanis. Same thing with Kpop lovers that are obsessed with Korean beauty standards. They’re pretty, sure, but even in the Middle East I think Lebanese and Persian girls are prettier.

Anyhow... my personal opinion about the appearance of ladies from Turkey is very much in their favour.

Not saying that 'otherwheres'' there aren't yummy alternatives as well - but Turkey indeed is very competitive in high ranking beautiful women.

It's risky to generalize and pick one country over another. In any country, there are some beautiful women, some average women, and some not so good looking women.
