They DO sell bikini underwear at places like Walmart, Target and other such places. I've been wearing `em for at least 50 years. Or, while you're buying skirts and dresses, get yourself a few pairs of panties.
I always wore a short scooter skirt and never had any trouble showing off my underwear, partly because I usually had panties on as well as pantyhose and covered both with a leotard.
