What are these and would you wear them?

Here's some shoes. They're designed for walking on wooden floor boards. But without googling them would you wear them and what are they?

Not the slightest idea where this kind of mocassin comes from, but they seem made according a practical concept, requiring not too much materials, and I guess relatively quickly assembled. And yes, a rather odd and particular look, whick I like, and probably I'd wear them.

Guess I'm the only person who knows what these are. Lived many years on farms and worked with sheep shearers, ferriers, et cetera. These are moccasins specifically worn when shearing sheep inside wooden sheds.

Those are Japanese geta sandals, traditionally worn with kimono and yukata. The raised wooden base keeps the fabric clean and away from dirt, and the teeth make that classic clacking sound on wooden floors. I’d totally wear them for a themed outfit or festival, but not for everyday errands in Orlando 😅 my Virgo feet like comfort too much.

Shearers have moved onto wearing moccies because they help shearers to feel closer with the sheep being shorn.

I'm far from convinced the sheep appreciate the emotional intelligence displayed by the shearers because every mocky is a dead sheep as they are made out of sheep skin.

It is kinda a misplaced bad taste gesture to our Ovis friends in reality but they can be teamed beautifully with shearer shorts as in a previous question.

Moccasins are traditional soft leather shoes originally worn by many Indigenous peoples of North America, made from a single piece of leather with a soft sole.

Those are crocodile shoes from Miami, Florida, where all the alligators mostly live down here in the Everglades. I’ve seen them on the boardwalk they just run wild there’s so many here that they just Skin them and make crocodile shoes. If you like them, I can buy you a pair Just let me know. They look like they are designed to fit over your shoes to keep your shoes clean or something. Like when you are walking in dirt or dust.
Aside from that, they are about the stupidest looking things I've ever seen.

It’s extremely rudimentary footwear closely resembling moccasins, but i suspect those are “vegan friendly”. Unlike traditional moccasins which are made with animal hides.

They remind me of a pair of moccasins I had when I was a kid. They are comfortable but don't give much support to the feet. They were fine when I was young. I'll pass on wearing them now.
