How often do you actually cut your nails, not just trim them?

Anytime they need it. I tend to use them as tools so, I let them grow a bit. If one accidentally gets bent or slightly torn, I'll cut it off as close to below the bend as I can. Right now, they're all pretty short except my right thumb. I might cut that in a few days just because it's getting a bit too long. It's also starting to cut a hole into the sponge I was dishes with. The last few days, I've been cutting most of them pretty sure over and over again because they keep getting spurs that catch on my clothes.

I fully cut mine about every two weeks. I let them grow a bit so they still look feminine and neat, then do a full cut and shape session, not just a tiny trim. Toenails usually every three weeks. I time it around when polish starts looking rough, so everything feels fresh and clean again.
