Afraid to try thongs because of the whole "string in your ass" thing

Question

Alright so I'm kinda afraid to try thongs because they obviously go up your butt crack.  So what I'm wondering is are they this huge "perma-wedgie" that thong detractors make it out to be?  Also, wouldn't you notice the string sometimes especially when bending over?

you get used to it. Don't worry about trying them...it's not big deal, try it for a day, if you like it then wear them, but if not then don't. Try it in the comfort of your own home though, because you don't want to be at school and be like, "oh no, I cannot stand these!"

I don't wear them now just because I play sports(running)...involved with guys and I don't want my a** hanging out when I run! lol

I just wear soffee shorts so I'd feel revealing about wearing them.

I have a couple that I haven't worn since middle school...they are still new though. I have one that I wore a couple times, and I wore it when I needed to wear those tight black spandex-ish pants for dressing up for a school band concert. They help if you can see your regular a** covering underwear lines...haha

You don't get wedgies lol Don't make a thong seem complicating, you get use to it, it might seem akward at first but after a few tries you will like it, plus girls that wear them, then bend over they damn well know their thong is showing! Wear jeans that fit you perfectly, that's not so tight that you bend over and everybody sees half your ass! And if you bend over hold the back of your jeans so it won't go down! Thongs are comfortable actually!

Honestly for me, I don't even feel it. I suppose when I wore my first thong it was a bit uncomfortable for a bit, but after a while I didn't notice anything different from regular underwear. I would just suggest trying one, you can't know for sure if you don't like them if you are only going to go on other peoples experiences.

Ok I think they are so comfy. when I lay around the house in sweats I usally have one on. Ya it is kinda weird the first time kinda like when you wear your first strapless bra kinda like that you expect there to be more there but there isn't. Go for it you will like it.

honestly I am a guy and I wear thongs and it realy depends on the thong for haw much you notice it like a string thong or g-string you will hardly notice if ita a thong with a thinker back part obiusly your going to notice it more... but you know what try them lots of guys love seeing girls in them I do! and you know what I agrea there comfly I love mine I would wear them more but guys get funny looks and a lot of girls don't like guys that wear them.. but oh well I agrea with the girls there comfly you don't notice them that much and there are some realy cute thongs out there

yeah...from what my sister tells me, they are a wedgie invite...but ,from what I know, they don't give worse wedgies than other undies...if your that scared to wear one, then dont...but your afraid of the "string up your ass"? like I'm sure others have said...try it out and see.

I say go for it! I think they are super comfy, they are all I have worn since I was in sixth grade. At first they feel a little weird but within a week or so you won't even notice them! Just make sure the one you try fits.

As for the wedgie thing, being given a wedgie when you have a thong on is way worse than regular underwear. Just keep them under your pants and you have nothing to worry about though

They're not so bad. After a while, you just get used to the feeling and you don't notice it at all. Just make sure you get the right ones and be sure they fit...otherwise they can be pretty uncomfortable. There are tons of different kinds including g-strings and things like that, so try experimenting with them and I'm sure you'll find something you like.

thongs aren't that bad. especially with jeans. they aren't noticable that much. just enough to know they are there ha. I guess it's one of those things you get used to lol

My girl loves thongs and never complains about them.  But, she sometimes wears the other variety and needs to pick them out every once in awhile.  Or I pick them out for her :)

It was weird for me the first time but after awhile you get use to it. I find them to be comfy but everyone is different. Some women I talk to hate them. But they are cuter then granny panties!

yess the string can hang out any time especially when your bending over.. thongs do not give you a wedgie.. not even when you pull them up high. their awesome. I love them. that's all I wear. NO WEDGIE INVOLVED lol. try it.
