Are thongs uncomfortable? Any advice? What's your opinion?

I want to buy some thongs so that my pantie lines don't show when i wear leggings (i think it attracts perverts).

... But my mum says that thong are uncomfortable & can cause vaginal thrush.

I prefer thongs a lot more than panties because when you wear normal underwear, they ride up in your butt. The best thongs are like non-existent.

HOWEVER, cheap nasty polyester thongs (aka most of Victoria Secret) are going to irritate you all day. Instead try Agent Provacteur, Calvin Klein or Intimissimi. But, if you have the money to spend. Go all out, go to La Perla and buy the one size freedom lace thong. It's life changing, lacy and practically non existent. They're so pretty. Hope this helps

Get cotton ones, those reduce the likelihood of thrush since your vag can breathe.  Also, you literally don’t feel them through the day that’s the joy of them!

My suggestions is buy just 2 pair to you think your going to like them and i know lot Females who prefer panties over thongs cause it will cause thrush ( Vaginal Yeast Infections) .

Never worn one, all I can say is, if a guy is looking at your crotch to see the lines, he is already a perv whether thing or not. So I wouldn't bother.

They’re not uncomfortable, but I prefer to go commando. Have you ever gone that way. I always go commando and braless because I hate the pressure of strings attached to my body. You could try st least once to go commando, and you’ll feel even better than in thongs. It’s really awesome to go that way.

They are uncomfortable when they are like coarse lace material. Always get a microfiber material, which can be softer than silk, then you will be delighted :)

Ugh, I feel your pain girl. I just a new pair of workout leggings that pretty much force me to wear thongs to avoid my underwear line from showing

... I hate thongs- so much. I don't care what other women say, they're not comfortable at all, LOL.
How about just wearing a long shirt that covers up your butt; that's what I do. That way you can wear whatever type of underwear you want without worrying about pervs staring at your butt, or the line showing through your pants.

My wife loves thongs. It's her primary under wear choice except when sleeping.

I have a few men's Calvin Klein thongs that I wear on extremely hot summer days (when you want to be wearing as little as possible) and at the gym/spin class.

They are not as uncomfortable as you would think.

I think thongs are comfortable, but they do take some getting used to. They're brilliant for underwear lines and make yoga pants completely seamless.
You do need to know what to pick out though in terms of style and material.

It takes some getting used to at first cuz it feels like something should be there covering. The only real uncomfortable part is if at work it starts to ride up a lot and it feels like it’s cutting you in the back

They're not uncomfortable. It might take a couple of weeks to get used to them (get cotton ones to start with, they're the most comfortable thongs, at least imo) but once you do, it feels like you're wearing nothing.

I've tried a few thongs and I do find them uncomfortable.  They are perfect for avoding panty lines but some other underwear without seams can avoid them also.

So no girl has told me they are uncomfortable. I've seen several girls wear them at the gym. You can see some thongs through the outline or through some shorts.

I've heard for exercise use, they my not be as hygienic.
