Do girls like facial hair on guys?

Okay I'm confused here. I look on websites on "what girls want" type of things, and they say that girls like guys that are clean shaven. But I look and I see that many girls are with guys with all different types of facial hair. Some of these guys look like Santa lol. So help me out here, what do the majority of girls like? Facial hair or no facial hair? If you like facial hair, which kind of styles?

Well, everyone has different preferences, and a lot of girls will still date a guy even if his facial hair isn't her preference, or a guy will change his facial hair after he's been dating a girl, even though it isn't her preference.

Personally, I used to not like facial hair at all, but at some point, my partner grew a beard/mustache. At first I was unsure about it, but now I like it a lot. He shaved it off at one point, and I told he should grow it back.

Now I'm much more open to facial hair. I think that some guys look good with facial hair, and some don't, and the style depends on what best suits you (not all styles look good on everyone).

That is one good looking man, I love his facial hair... although I'd love him without it too.

I also have a co-worker with some stubble, and it's extremely attractive.

However, if a guy is really attractive, it doesn't matter to me either way.

it can go either way,some girls like a 5 o'clock shadow,some like a full beard..some of course prefer clean shaven. I personally am waiting to find a girl that likes the handlebar mustache and then my journey through this life will be complete.

anyway,i almost always have some scruff and I seem to attract girls more than when I'm completely clean shaven. but that's just me and probably won't apply to everyone. I've heard women say that some guys just can't pull it off or that for some facial hair doesn't look right on them

my advice is,be yourself,grow facial hair any way you want,within reason of course and don't worry much about it...there will be girls that dig your look and some that don't.

it seems a lot are into that whole 5 o'clock shadow look, but surely it would be like rubbing against sandpaper? but I guess it has a masculine aesthetic. I generally cycle a week or so stubble before it gets too wolf-like with clean shaven. pretty low maintenance and I actually enjoy wet shaving when I do it right...feels fresh.

Here's the secret... it doesn't matter. You will get all these girls telling you that they love it, hate it, etc. but in reality, when the right guy comes along, they would set aside their preferences and give this guy a chance.

I personally like the clean shaven look more. But I'm not going to deny that my boyfriend looks good with a little stubble or goatee. But I assure you, before I dated him, I made it clear that I don't like facial hair and he still got a chance with me.

I could be totally wrong or some girls don't agree. But that's what I've concluded.

i love stroking my mans beard and brushing my face up against it! There is just something so manly to me about facial hair, seeing men with leg hair, and under arm hair too. I just like the rough looking kind of men as opposed to the guys that I would consider pretty boys. I am also a very feminine old fashioned type of girl so I don't want my man looking like the pretty one. I am attracted to the manly guys that look like they just came inside from chopping down some trees lol. Not too much beard to the point where I could get lost in it but if it is kept neat at a very short length, kind of like a Hugh Jackman or Ryan Gossling look.

If a guy can pull off facial hair, I like it. I'm not a big fan of massive beards, but I love small beards or heavy stubble. The scruffy look is hot. This is a good look. link

Not all guys look good with facial hair, it depends on your face. Most facial hair styles tend to fit guys with square chins. However, when a guy looks good with facial hair, he looks goooood! But of course only specific kinds are hot, like the anchor, soul patch, and the so called rap industry standard.

honestly I don't really care. when it comes down to it, if I really had to make a choice, I would say none. but I've liked guys with it before. and if I like someone and he decides to have some facial hair it doesn't stop me from liking him. I don't like beards though. just don't go overboard.

It all depends if it looks good on you or not. I find my fiance extremely sexy when he does have a beard! I hate it when he shaves it all because it just doesn't suit him! obviously when we want to kiss a little bit of it does get in my way, but that is part of the fun! ;)

It's just more 'manly' more rugged. It doesn't mean I'm not attracted to a guy when he doesn't have it - it just means I like it when it's there, a lot.

As long as it's well kept and doesn't get too long then I'm a fan.

I like someone who knows what suits his face. There are some guys were look far better with facial hair, some that look far better without.

Please, just wear what YOU want! If you're clean, friendly, not socially awkward, and dress nicely, you will find people that like you whether or not you have facial hair.

I'm pretty against facial hair. It's scratchy or prickly and feels weird when kissing. For me, clean shaving or 5 o'clock shadow is the way to go. If a guy I'm with has facial hair, I'll harass him till he shaves it or be a little grumpy about putting up with it if he really wants to keep it.

It seems to me that most girls I know who are into facial hair like fully unshaven faces with the hair trimmed so it doesn't get too long. They think it's "rugged" and manly.

I hate moustache! , I don't really care about the beard, but the moustache has to go away! , But to be honest , I love him most when shaved , because he has a baby face and beard kinda ruins it :D see what fits you and do it .. maybe you look better with a 3rd day beard who knows ..

I think it looks sexy and makes them look more older and mature, BUT it has to look clean and nicely trimmed. I don't like those beard that are overgrown and looks as if it has it's own eco system in it. :P

Depends on the guy. But generally I like some scruff. So like anywhere from a little bit of stubble all the way up to a full beard, whatever the guy can pull off. If he looks better clean shaven, that's cool too. I just usually prefer facial hair.
