Do any girls like "husky guys"?

I'm wondering if any girls out there like "husky men". I just recently learned that term but it means basically very tall, possibly muscular and a bit heavier but not fat or obese.

Just a bit of chub like maybe a stomach.

This basically means that the figure isn't perfect and maybe not swimsuit model like.

I'm wondering if some women out there could imagine dating a guy like this and maybe overlook his weight if they really liked him as a person.

I like husky men, big time. My dream old man husband is Trace Adkins. I'm not an advocate for people being overweight (it's unhealthy and I want them to live a long happy life), but I used to and still have a crush on this guy who was probably 6 foot something and is a big guy. He was so sweet and a really genuine guy, he's a man I would want to settle down with and would love so much. I would hope that he would eat healthy and work out with me so we could live a long life together and can be happy. I like husky men, there is someone out there for everyone (probably not 100% true, but people have different tastes) :)

I personally like "husky guys" because I like to feel protected in a relationship. I feel like husky guys are just the perfect person for cuddling but you know he looks like he could hurt someone if they tried to hurt you. I also typically like husky guys better because I am not a skinny swimsuit model either so I like being able to feel comfortable with a guy and not feel like I'm getting judged for eating a cheese burger on a date instead of getting a salad. Lastly the height is nice because I am not very short I'm 5'7 so I like being able to feel small. All in all yes there are girls who prefer husky guys.

My crush/best friend (yes, I am in the friendzone) is like this. He's considered "chubby". He has a tummy and chubby arms, but he has good legs for a dude. Haha! I love it. He's really strong, too. ..but he's not super tall; he's probably 5'8" right now. I lovelovelove chubbier/huskier guys! They give amazing hugs and are always warm! :3 I hate hugging a guy and either have his bones feel like they're gonna break, or having his muscles crush me to death. Does that make sense? Haha.

Well honestly I think it depends on the person. If I can get along with this person very well and I like them, I can overlook weight. But I do enjoy a very active lifestyle (not talking about sex here) and I'd probably want them to be physically fit enough to enjoy it with me.

So I'm really fit ( at least to my standards) like I just did a half marathon, 150 k bike tour, go to the gym three times a week, would that be a benefit? Like I'm not sitting at home all the time. I just love to cook and eat haha but I'm working on it

Im this way too and I don't have much of a problem getting girls or anything. However, I am a little surprised at the answers on here. It seems girls like this or at least don't mind it. I thought it was my personality overshadowing my little belly. At least I don't have a dicky-do though.

FWIW, it technically doesn't take much to be "obese". At the high end of "normal" weight a person has 24.9% body fat. Obese starts at 30%. A man a 6' 2" at 194 pounds is at the high end of "normal" weight. Starting at 234 pounds they are "obese". Only 40 pounds makes all the difference.

Okay. To any chick that thinks because they are slender their boyfriend has to be slender. F**k you. I'm 5'6" and 140lbs and my soul mate is 6'1" and 270. He is significantly bigger than me and it's perfect. He makes me feel petite and tiny no matter how self conscious I feel and it's the best feeling ever. Hell, I could eat a burrito with him and still feel like a tiny model. He loves my body and lets me know it all the time. He's a bit chubby, but his biceps are bigger than my calves (I was a runner) and he has thick, solid thighs and calves. He also rocks my world in bed. So you know what, skinny bitches. We might be slim, but a husky man will make you feel more like a woman than anyone else. Especially little, pissy, skinny men.

That's what I said. It's just a term for men who are heavier, tall and strong. I know from real life that not many women like this. I'm not trying to sugarcoat anything. At 6'5 my BMI is 28 so yeah overweight.

I dated a guy that was 6'5" tall and he was a bit heavy. Not obese, but he did have a beer belly (he drank a lot) and not going to lie, that was a turn off.
