Inventive compliments

My new girlfriend has told me how she doesn't like the casual compliments such as being called beautiful and being called names like babe and such words.

She said inventive compliments are the way forward, but what is inventive to you? I need some idea or examples and I can just think of things from there on in on my own.

Don't get me wrong though, I've send plenty of nice things to her but she's never been the type for relationships (just messing about and stuff instead) but I've managed to change her mind on that very quickly and she's really got into it. For example, I was told by everyone that it would take months for her to say she likes someone... but within 2 days I managed to get her to admit she likes me (a lot) and that she missed me when I went away for a couple of days. Which made me really happy.

So what ideas have you got? :)

Try to pick something you like about her that's unique to her. For instance, her mannerisms that you notice: if she scrunches her nose when she laughs, or sighs gently when you brush her hair out of her eyes, or anything along those lines. If there are any habits that you enjoy of hers, let her know about them. If you think it's attractive that she works out regularly, don't just compliment her on her physical attractiveness, compliment her on her dedication. If she studies hard in school or gets great results at work, let her know that you respect her for that. Girls get compliments about their cute face or nice body all the time, but those are the aspects which have the least to do with who they really are. Focus on something personal to her that shows you enjoy her for the person she is.
