Is a girl flirting if she calls you by your real name?

There is a girl who called me by my real first name (not my nickname that everyone calls me) after I said something sarcastically to her. Do girls do this to flirt or are they actually a little upset?

That can go two ways. After-all it is your actual name, so personally I wouldn't even take that as a 'hint' to flirting. She could have been upset by what you sarcastically said to her, if it had indeed hurt her feelings. I don't think she was flirting from my standpoint of the information you gave, but if you insist of truly knowing why she called you by your first name, just ask her.

I think so, yes. I've found myself calling guys whom I like by their first and middle names or their entire names on some occasions. Also instead of calling them by their shortened name, such as Mike, Matt, Nick, etc, I'll call them Michael, Matthew, Nickolas. You get the idea
