Is it ok to tell a guy you dreamed about him?

A few nights ago I dreamed about a guy that I kind of think is really nice. We had a thing going on once but right now there's not much between us. We get along really well though, the spark is still there and we see each other once a week... I dreamed that he tried to kill me haha as creepy as it sounds. I was thinking to text him and I'd be like: You tried to kill me! In my dream! O_o do you think it would be a fun way to start a conversation? The usual hey, whats up, how are you is just so boring! Or might he find it creepy? think I'm weird?

I read your question about 3 minutes after sending a Facebook message to a guy telling him I dreamt about him :P I think you should tell this guy, but leave out the part about him trying to kill you. Just say it was kind of a nightmare and when you woke up you were relieved that he was himself and not a bad guy like he was in your dream. He should be flattered instead of creeped out.

Btw, the message to my guy friend was, "Helloooo... I dreamt about you last night and realized we hadn't talked in a while! How are you?" It's a similar situation with him and me because at one time we were close and flirted constantly, but then he moved back to Europe and we lost contact. Now I have a BF so I won't be doing any flirting, but I do miss him as a friend.

Alright, so I do want to tell him, I kind of miss him to be honest and I'm hoping this will bring something good and positive. I could say that I dreamed about you last night or something similar... But I'm sure he will ask what happened. Now what do I say? haha I don't want to creep him away, the exact opposite is my goal :D
I'm also a bit worried that he will make fun of me...

I doubt he'll make fun of you! If he asks what happened you should say something like what I posted above - that it was kind of a nightmare but when you woke up you were happy that in real life he's obviously a good guy.

If you want to stay in contact with him, add on a "How are ya?" or "What have you been up to lately?" at the end of your message. That should give him the hint that you're interested in finding out how he's been.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it. I told a guy friend the other day that he was in my dream. You should start it off with, "I had a dream about you.: or "you were in my dream." You've peaked their interest at that point and now they're interested.

That's funny. A girl that I really liked last year told me that she had a dream about me. In the dream, she said that I tried to kill her and her friends -_-. Yup... that made me feel really good about myself.

What if I'd say I dreamed about him but I wouldn't say what happened? It wasn't the first time he showed up in my dream, maybe I could use some other dream from a few months ago, in case he asks what happened?

I wouldn't tell him about that dream. When I liked this girl, she texted me early in the morning and said she had a dream about me. I was feeling all happy, thinking she had a pretty good (and maybe sexual dream about me). So I thought she might have liked me back. So I asked her if it was a good dream. She was like, "OMG NO! I had a dream that you came to house with a gun, shot me and shot my friends." I was stunned over this and pretty hurt. Here was a girl I like, and she was having dreams that I killed her -_-. Didn't really make me feel too good.

Aright, so I could tell him that I dreamed about him but I won't tell him what happened... but like what do I say when he asks what happened? I'm sure he will, I'd be curious too haha! He'll probably think it was something sexual :D

be like you had a crazy dream about him, sort of laugh while telling him but never
tell him you had a creepy dream that can scare him away from you always make

A girl at my old workplace said she dreamed about a boy at work, we took turns guessing, when she revealed it they got together. Lasted a year but she was there on placement and had to go back to University. They were such a sweet couple, though.
