What is the sexiest accent to you?

My personal favorite is Eastern European, but I also find a lot of Northern European accents enticing.

I used to really love English accents, but after spending almost a month traveling through England, Ireland, and Scotland, Irish is definitely number one. Holy crap. Irish accents do horrible/wonderful things to me haha
Scottish is a very close second though.
I spent two of those weeks on a bus with 18 Aussies, and I have to say their accent is kind of overrated as well, much like the English accent. Though I mean, English is still good haha.

While I was abroad I heard way too many angry Italian women yelling to be attracted to it. Don't get me wrong women speaking in other languages is a great turn on but not when it gives me flashbacks of the airport lady telling us "stupid americans" why she has to hold our bags an extra three hours before giving them to us.

East or south Asian shouldn't be on this list. I don't know anyone who finds an Indian accent or a Chinese accent attractive. No one gets horny being reminded of some call center or south park racist jokes. Same with a Mexican accent; SI SENOR...

On the flip side, a Spanish accent from Europe could be quite nice.

Spanish/Italian sounds sooooo sexy to me!! I don't really like Portuguese accents though bc it sounds like weird Spanish lol. Singaporean accents sound funny to me lah. But I like them, I just don't find them sexy. Japanese and Korean is sexy depending on who's talking. Mmm TaeYang can speak Korean to me all day long.

When I think of guys who have (I'm one, with a little "American" twang) a strong German accent, they remind me of gummy bears, so I guess I automatically want to hug them?

Although I'm Asian, I can honestly say that I don't really find any of the Asian accents appealing or "sexy". I prefer along the likes of British, Italian, Spanish or Australian. I'm just speaking for myself, I have some friends who do like Asian accents over the others.

Plus, British could mean Irish, Scottish, Welsh or English which are all entirely different from one another and each one has a wide variety of variations, so people should specify which.

My top ones would have to be Irish, Scottish ( have some Scottish in me ) British, Australian-English, French ( have a tiny bit of that ) and Czech, I have a ton of Czech in me do only natural I'd find the accent pleasing. Sadly I did not have it, all I got is a baritone like country accent which is quite common depending on we're you live.

Normally I do prefer people to speak with American accent though because I speak in American accent.

Lol yeah some people do like Asian accent, but I'm an Asian myself and I can't understand Asian accent that well...

I don't understand the sexual implications behind accents. It does not matter to me what phonetic differences exist between two different regions, one is not better than the other as long as it is comprehensible. As long as the person speaks  English  properly without use of excess slang or nonsensical filler, I can enjoy speaking with the person. I think proper timing of your responses, good pronunciation, listening well, and not using mitigated speech is what makes a person easy to speak with.

There are lots and lots of accents, strange thing though British like American accents and Americans like British accents. In England Yorkshire accent is pretty sweet, and in American accents, easy going Southern (Texas) accent is pretty cool.

I want to say Mexican accents are sexy, but that may just be because I find my boyfriend to be incredibly sexy and he just so happens to have a light Mexican accent. Otherwise, Northern European accents are very attractive =)

Russians/Eastern Europeans and Latin Root languages sound the sexiest and most aggressive (in a good way). Asian accents are just a hassle to even bother listening (trust me i'm an Asian dude with Asian parents).
