Here's my view. I think your over thinking things right now. A face means nothing. You can't give to much detail from what your asking. If you've seen him before, and he keeps checking you out, then yeah, he's got a crush on you. But then, a crush isn't the answer either. What truly is behind any answer, is to ask the person directly. The problem with that is, where all shy, and we don't want to be let down. So, my advice, is to just slow down with your thinking number one. Number two, just enjoy life, and take things as they come. If someone likes you, make it clear to them too. Some guys will make moves too, but also within time. I wouldn't even say anything about, how I'm feeling, until I know you enough, to even base any conclusions on what I'm even feeling... and that's not even asking the other person... I've got to be sure the other person likes me too.

So, I'm not sure where your at with him. Do you like him? And the question is, do you see him enough to base any other conclusions? If so, what are those?

I have formed deductions of my own based on consequent occurrences. I'm sorry I didn't give enough information. I'm not too comfortable. But you are right it is possible I could be overthinking and it's all in my head.

Well, then, I can't argue with a woman's intuition? lol... If it's consequent occurrences, and you see him checking you out more than once, then your most likely right. Now, where do you go from here right? It's either wait, and see what he does, or you do something to engage in some small talk. Doesn't have to be serious, but you could say "Hi", "How are you?" But, at least WE both know what's going on right? If anything, I'd just sit back, and see if he says anything to you :) It's a matter of time, but then also principle. Is it time to say something to you? How do you come across by the way. Like do you, make any eye contact with him? Smile? Those are thing I enjoy, when checking someone out. If they smile, it's a good way to see if they like me too... That's of course if he's actually checking you out more, rather than your ass, or boobs.

He usually says hi to me and takes a moment to ask me how I am. It's really hard for me to open up and feel at ease though so my responses are usually flat and stilted. I don't have enough confidence to work up the courage to look and smile at him when he checks me out. I don't usually know how to react in those situations.

When we talk I can't help smiling and look down and it is embarrassing. I guess that is part of the reason that I've stated earlier about why I am uneasy around him. I want to avoid mortification.

Confidence takes awhile :) I don't think anyone really is 100% confident. But making small moves towards building confidence helps. I read a book once, (forgot the title), but it explained how making eye contact, even for a second helps. Even walking with your head held high, gives that confidence as well. Feeling good about yourself, is a start. The reason I even bring that up, is because woman fall short in that area. So if you feel like your not pretty enough, STOP thinking that. Your perfect, the way you are.

But, truthfully, it's about taking small steps, to make you a better person :) When you talk to anyone, just try to make eye contact. That's your homework :) Then, the next time you have a talk with this guy, you might look at him a little bit longer. It's about baby steps. You don't learn to run first do you? You learn to crawl, then walk, then run. Here's another idea... each person you talk to, portend your learning from them :)

It makes it easier sometimes that way. If you, just think of every person you come in contact with, you use them :) You use them to help yourself grow, you use people to help your confidence, you use them to make eye contact more, you use them to not feel so afraid of talking to new people. So, when you start talking to this guy, it gets a little easier. Maybe even using him too :) Life, is all about lessons (using people).

Ah I see. When guys see someone attractive, they usually tend to think about what it would be like to be with that attractive person, or at the very least they try to imagine them being naked. It's just a sex thing. He's probably imagining you naked, and likes what he sees, so he's got a smile on his face. As for being "sly", it may just be the way he smiles normally, it probably doesn't mean anything else.
