What does it mean when a guy sneaks up behind you and tickles you?

We're in middle school. Ok, so our class was in the library to purchase some books before it was book fair day. Then, while I was walking to go sit down and all of a sudden I felt hands on my waist tickling me and I found out that it was guy friend and I had screamed really loud because it tickled then he started laughing because of my scream and asked me why I screamed. I'm not making this a big deal I just want to know. So, what does it mean when a guy sneaks up behind you and tickles you? If my age says 18 to 20 then I'm sorry because when I joined I had accidentally clicked 18 to 20 instead of Under 18 and I couldn't change it back.
