If you and a friend were talking and suddenly he moves closer to you what does it mean?

OK so me and a friend from work we were talking and we were talking side ways at the counter ,i was talking to him directly into his eyes, and he was too but then all of a sudden I noticed that he moved in closer and was looking at my lips.(if I would have lean forward we would have kissed) but I didn't moved I just stood there and I couldn't breath no one has ever been that close to me and I was really nervous. anyways, are these signs that says he likes me and what other signs should I look for when we talk alone (ii mean if he wants to kiss me) let me know and thanks PS I'm 22 and he is 30

Yes it does mean that. Unless their was a lot of background noise that would make him move closer. Body language is everything and eye contacts big. When your talking next time like just slightly move away from him take a small step back and see if he moves closer to you after that. Than you get get a better idea of if it was just one time thing or not.

Ok thanks oh and another thing I was talking to a girl coworker and she said he likes me and wants my number, he came up and stood right next to me and he told her that she was bad. now I don't know if he meant like ok you caught me I like you or he was defending. if he were defending me would he try and say something like leave her alone or, ignore her, stuff like that right? let me now.ps he didn't say anything just that.please I need to know I'm new at this. thanks a lot and god bless

Sounds like he was saying it in the "oh you caught me" kinda way.

I just found out o thursday about that we haven't talked since because thursday was my last day and would start my vacations wich it is now. so what do you think when I go back to work should I talk about him about that or just go with the flow.? I'm new at this this would be my first serious relationship with someone so I don't know. oh and earlier that day he asked for my my cell(NOT CELL NUMBER BUT FOR MY phone. unfurtunately I didn't have it at the time. he has one and never asked me for it. tet
