What does it mean if a guy takes a sip of your drink randomly?

me and this guy have an undeniable connection. We constantly look in each other's eyes and smile. We have so much chemistry. But we are only friends because he is married. I would never do anything about it like act on it, but I want to know if he is attracted to me. Just out of curiosity. I set my Mt. dew down on the table and right away he grabbed it and took a sip. Then I took one right after. But did that mean anything? He usually cares about his personal space and germs but he never does with me. We always sit very close to each other on the couch (I'm best friends with his daughter and close with his wife so I stay over a lot, even though the daughter moved out. I come over to hangout with him and his wife but his wife never is really around). I am 17 but really mature physically and mentally. We would never act out on our attraction for each other. But I'm wondering if taking a sip from my drink meant anything? He is a very observant person and likes to test me on things. Could that have been him seeing what I'd do or if I would care?

I know you're saying that you would never act on this, but if that was 100% true you wouldn't be asking this question. Be very careful of what you are doing, Im not saying that you would initiate or anything, but are you sure you would stop him if he did?

Anyway, no I dont think that means anything, especially if he's known you for a long time and you're pretty close.

You're right. I guess I just like to entertain my mind. I mean I've been very attracted to men and never did anything about it even though every inch of me wanted to. Yeah I doubt it meant anything. I just like to get in his head sometimes and can't help but wonder. Thanks for being so cool and not judge mental. I really appreciate your response. He's called me gorgeous a few times but I think he sees me as another daughter probably.

Yeah you dont sound like a bad person, and Im sure you wouldn't want to ruin their marriage, but if you're not careful and you keep thinking about this stuff a lot it could go badly. And these are the kind of thoughts you should be focusing on guys closer to your own age, and who are not married/taken.

He probably views me as a daughter of anything. But I know for a fact he is attracted to me. I am not conceited but I am thin and have a nice boy and face. He's told me I'm gorgeous and all that. He's very sweet towards me but mostly views me as a daughter probably. I don't know. I just like to get inside people's thoughts and motives. I'm just really curious.

He wouldn't ever act on his attraction for me. It would ruin the amazing bond and friendship that we have. We are both Christians so that's like a big reason why we don't act on our desires I think. Haha

Most probably. But I personally think it's kinda weird if I were to take a sip of someone's else drinks, especially when I have a wife and someone else = is a female, that just what I feel, fyi im Christian too but just grew at a different community I guess?

Lol so true. I wouldn't ever act on it. I've had moments where he's made me weak in the knees but still my mind held up a red flag. I think that it we ever even did act on it, it'd ruin the connection and attraction. It'd ruin the mystery and imagination and want. We are more of best friends than anything. We have the closeness of a father-daughter relationship but also a sweet friendship. Would never want to hurt it. Just curious about his thoughts.
