Why do beautiful women get approached less?

This is something I have noticed when I go out with friends and something I have talked about with a couple of my friends. I'm friends with two beautiful girls --who look like they could be in a magazine cover-- who barely get approached compared to me and my other friends and they're also very friendly. It's weird.

I have found on this site, this question or this type of question gets asked a lot and I’m starting to believe it is being beat into the ground like a nail that just won’t stay down. Realistically I have been to a lot of countries and social situations within those different countries, not just here in the United States and from my point of view, beautiful women get hit on a lot---I’m talking about seriously a lot.

I have not ever found where beautiful women, who as you say could pose in a magazine were being ignored. Unless, of course, you are in a bar with just weak males who have no self-confidence, and poor self-esteem to be bold and assertive in what they want and desire, and if that’s the case, then I’m very sorry for such situations, because in this day and age, life is way, way, way, too short for such nonsense.

If you view a beautiful woman then have the courage to go up and talk to her, ask her to dance, ask to buy her a drink; all she can do realistically is say no, so what’s the issue? From my point of view, it is males who have been so beat down and criticized for their aggressive nature or for being assertive and bold, they’re now so weak of character they can’t fathom the prospect of actually walking up and talking to a woman, regardless of how she looks.

I hope with all heartfelt hope, this will not be an increasing pattern in the future to come. People need to learn again there is no shame or wrongness in approaching someone because of their looks. It doesn’t matter if you’re sky-rocket beautiful, or just the average wall-flower waiting to be notice. Stand up for yourself.

Go after with all you have for what you want and desire in this life, and sure you might miss out ninety-nine percent of the time, but just consider for one moment what would happen when the RIGHT person says, “yes” to you. That’s my bottom line.

There is a part in the book "The Alabaster Girl" by Zan Perrion where he describes according to his experience why beautiful women are single/less approached, and i totally agree with what he says.

"Beautiful women are secretly lonely. We think it's because they are intimidating to others. This may be true, of course, but there is something else here, something a little more fundamental, something beyond the obvious. Beautiful women are lonely because they are never fully included in the lives of others. Men are rarely honest with them about their intentions and women are a little unsure of them, a little suspicious, a little mistrustful, a little wary. Beautiful women are placed upon a stage, up there, away... away from the nodding, whispering, murmuring audience. They are politely not included, set apart."

And this is totally true, men often are not honest to beautiful women, honest about their intentions, and that's why beautiful women can never feel full in the companionship of a man. They are often secretly put in a pedestal, and are placed well above other people included the man itself, and this is why women hate men who put them in a pedestal, who have no backbone or spine to simply treat them like a normal human being, like a peer, or put her in her place when she misbehaves.

I think this has something to do with how a female comes across. Usually females dressed up dont get approached by men but the females who are dressed down will get approached. And a lot of times just because you think someone looks beautiful in your eyes, doesn't make them attractive in others. Some calls like what they like, and want what they want. Some do not deviate from their preference of what they are use to.

I've seen a lot of guys in bars not have confidence to talk to women. I was intimdated for years (albeit It wasn't in bars, but other settings). After I got some confidence around 45+, I approached the most attractive woman in a bar who later told me she had never been approached in a bar before. She was tall, blonde, and intimidating I think.

I think the problem is the guys are down, drunk, not confident, etc.. The woman if they are in a group of girls giggling and such or having fun can be hard to approach until a guy learns how to approach them. Guys have to learn how to do this, how to handle women and deal with them to do this. They also need to learn the right attitude. I'm not srue if it is just the most attractive or just some women, not sure about that. I think that happens to other women depending upon how inviting they look.

I do know when I've talked to women the majority of them appreciate talking to a decent person who can hold a conversation.

because beautiful women (which are common) are supposed to do the approaching, beauty gives them options, because beauty prevents rejection. and because they could already be taken or she's never going to be interested, aka out of our league, plus she could be a slut or a lesbian. (which is also common with beautiful girls) and mostly guys are not going to approach anyways, most guys expect the girl to approach, and just because she's beautiful doesn't mean she's going to think the same about the guys who want her. and last, beautiful girls are usually too conceited. and not interested in relationships or guys in the first place, and guys know that.

Ignore the bs here saying guys are intimidated or make assumptions or whatever. There will ALWAYS be guys confident enough to make a move on genuinely pretty girls.

Do you have a pic of your friends? Because in most cases, it's the people overselling themselves.

Oh ok. I re read your post. You were talking about the drop dead gorgeous girls and not just the normally attractive ones. I think to answer your question, the chances of seeing is fairly rare and also the chances of actually getting to talk to her at an appropriate time is also pretty unlikely. Like for example I saw this gorgeous girl who looked like she was on her way to the beach walk into the gas station as I was walking out. Other than holding the door open for her their isn't a whole lot I can do to stop her and talk to her. What do I do walk back into the gas station and introduce myself? Now that I think of it, that might actually be the most normal thing to do. lol I can't think of something like that at the time. You get my point though.
