ok so recently I met a new friend well I met her in september and we have become the best of friends! she has a very unique personality and I'm actually prettied fascinated and alittle obsessed with it. she doesn't think she's pretty but she is beautiful in a way that not many people can see it and I love hugging her (lol) but I'm very scared by this. I'm crushing a little too hard on her and I don't want to ruin anything but I've never felt this way. I can tell her anything and she always makes me laugh. I don't want to be a lesbian or bi sexual but I do have a little "girl crush"

any advice on this topic? anyone feels/felt the same way? please help me and thanks for reading

im not saying I wudnt mind being a lesbian. I just don't want to be and that just gets into a whole different topic. I just want to know if its normal to have these feelings.

You can have a crush on a girl and still not be a lesbian or bisexual. Sexuality is what you consider yourself and if you feel that you're not gay or bi, then you're not. You don't have to let this ONE crush define your entire sexuality, especially if you feel that you really are straight. Just keep in mind though that there's absolutely nothing wrong with being lesbian or bisexual, so don't be ashamed if you find that you really do like/prefer women.

You could go one of two ways with this: either tell her and talk to her about it openly (which is hard to do), or you can try to wait it out and keep it to yourself until you get over her (which is remarkably .even harder to do).

Now if you're REALLY that into her, then I suggest the former option. If you really have a good friendship and you're open with each other, then talking to her about it shouldn't mean the end of your friendship. Who knows? It could work out for you in ways you wouldn't have even thought of. But that's only if you feel that talking openly about it to her will not damage the friendship.

The latter option is actually harder than people may think. If you really like someone, you don't just turn the switch off and that's it. It takes a lot of patience and will-power.

Um, it's okay to have a really close girlfriend that you admire. That's a good thing. These intese feelings does not mean you like her physically, it could just mean she is you best freind. I had a freind that I was always fasinated with by her personality and beauty, it didn't mean I wanted her sexually. She was just my nest freind and we did everything together. I think your taking these signals wrong, and mixing up sexuality with freindship. You can love your best freind.

It is cunpletly normal to feel like this it defently dose not make you gay, bi, etc but it is ok to be gay, bi, etc and don't be any one else but your self.

Well you are 2 girls, no way you can hurt each other. I see no reason to not share your feelings with her and see what she thinks. You might be able to have a few really enjoyable times with her. You certainly won't be the first 2 girls to ever pleasure another girl. And if you keep it secret, nobody else need ever know about it.

Question asker should spend less time worrying about defining her orientation and more time exploring her feelings for her friend.

you just have to try it out and make out with your best friend to see if there's anything there if not then that's OK. But if there is, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, go for it
