This girl at my university (she's a friend btw) started poking me after she saw me and said hi. So I played along and offered her a high 5. But instead of giving me a high 5 back she just continued to poke me in the stomach. At work, whenever me and this girl (who is also a friend) see each other she says hi and then starts tickling my stomach whenever she comes close to me. And when I don't see her coming she tickles me on my lower back and starts poking me in the sides.
I thought only guys poked girls but apparently it works the other way round too. What's the reason for girls poking guys?

I think girls poke guys the same reason why guys poke girls. What you said I your second sentence would be the reason I would poke a guy. I don't know if that helped at all
