What does it mean when a girl tells you you smell good?

I am new to this school and state and been here for about 1 and a half weeks and in my last class me and this girl sit by each other and I started talking to her and she laughs at all my jokes even when they are not funny and told me about this street where there is all these restaurants plus was asking if I did any sports and trying to get me to join running and pays attention to me when Im telling her about me and faces towards me with her body and has eye contact then sometimes she leans in real close to me and looks at my paper but this time she told me I smell good and I’m not sure if she is flirting with me giving me hints or if she likes me

So today she gave me a complement and said I was pretty smart so I told her she was the smartest person at this school and she smiled and blushed and when I started talking about my life and she was paying attention with her body towards me and was getting interested and smiling and I would catch her looking at me and just smile

Definitely hints. Be careful if she’s a Thot though. It doesn’t really mean much if she smells good but if she gets a lot of contact when looking over you, she definitely likes you. Like if she purposely does it. I do this a little bit but when she does something just look at her as giggle and if she does the same thing but in a “cute” way then she likes you. Good luck
