A good female friend of mine suddenly ignoring me?

I met this girl a few months ago in a club and for 2 - 3 months we were very close. We talked all the time using IM and over the phone. She would often text me early in the morning saying she missed me and I would often do the same. a couple weeks back I asked he if she wanted to be more then friends and she said she did and we planned to meet up again in the near future. The next day I didn't hear a word from her the entire day, so at night I gave her a call and she didn't answer soon after she texted me saying she was too tired to talk so I said I would call her the next day instead. Once again no answer and this time she didn't even text back or return my call. so I left her for two days hoping she would send me a message but she didn't. I IM'd her asking if something was up and she snapped at me, 2 days later (the day before we were due to meet she texted me saying she didn't want to meet up any more when I asked her why she didn't reply. I continued trying to talk to he but to no avail she never picked up her phone or replied to my texts and I fear she has blocked my IM account.

I don't know if I moved to fast and I know I didn't say anything to hurt her. it just bothers me that she just stopped talking to me without a reason. I would like to know what I could do to get her wanting to talk to me again because I am really stumped. I know I'm not that great when it comes to girls but we really clicked and I enjoyed talking to her. I would just like to return to what we had and I need some guidance on how to do that.

That is very random. She could have gotten scared about the more than friends thing. But she also agreed right? She obviously liked you if she talked to you all that time. Do any of your friends know her? Or her friends know you? Someone could have said something about you to make her scared. Or it could be completely irrelevant. Maybe something personal is bothering her. But to be quite honest I don't know why she would do this.

To try and fix it...

Do you know her address? Send her a caring letter in the mail just asking how she's doing. Don't mention anything about her not replying to anything of yours. Instead say that you haven't talked to her in a while and wanted to see how she's doing.

That may not work exactly though. A poem would be cute. In the poem mention all of the great things you used to talk about with her. Make her smile. Then end it with something that says I miss how things used to be. But remember don't say anything about her being at fault.

Now I think of it, I did know her best friend quite well, she often tries to talk to me but I didn't give her any signs of me liking her. I've known this fiend for about two week so it would make sense that she maybe mentioned something, timing wise, but she wouldn't really have a motive to do it unless she's secretly madly in love with me. One of my friends knows her, she was introduced to me by him as they met in Barcelona but again he is in a relationship so I don't think so.

I would talk to her best friend. Maybe there's some weird misunderstanding going on. She could really help.

That's no good to hear. From a girl's point of view she doesn't want to talk anymore. I'd say speaking to her will only push her away some more. Try not speaking to her at and if possible start looking for someone else that will like you back. She'll soon realize she missed out if she sees you happy with somebody else!

Maybe send her one last text telling her that you never intended on hurting her and that her friendship is more important to you than anything else. Then try not to contact her again. Hopefully she will realize that she's missing out.
