What does it mean when a guy's hand/arm brushes against your leg like 2 or 3 times during a movie?

so he invited me to dinner and I movie so I assumed it was a date and his friends said it was a date lol he paid during the movie he and I were leaning sort of away from each other like he was sitting on the left leaning to the left and me to the right but then I was like damn not good body language so I leaned toward him with my legs crossed so that they were -open- in his direction as in like facing him with my hands on my lap and a couple of times when he I don't know shifted positions, he brushed my thigh which is where my hands were? was he trying to hold my hand? also, does where a guy choose seats in the movie theatre represent what he want to do w u, ex: back, far corner=make out or in my case 2 or 3 rows from the top in the middle=hod hands? by the way were both 16

well there a lot of thing you can do in the back of the movies but I would reccomend you don't since now there are cameras in all the theaters and they are watching and recording it. About the hand brushing against you it was an attemp to make a physical contact with you. If you did not respond in a physical contact I am sure he stop touching or brushing. He is not sure if you like him enough to hold hand or even kiss. He might even be scared to ask you out again.

Yeah he was either trying to hold your hand and too nervous to grab it or he was just doing a little friendly touching.

Alot of the times guys show their "romantic presence" or "interest" with light touches or rubs. To me he sounds like he wants to be more physical (hand holding/kissing/etc..) but like most guys, he is probably just nervous. He might just be insecure and unsure of whether or not you actually like him. Believe it or not guys can be just as insecure as women . Next time he tries to touch you just nod your head or give him some kind of body language cue that lets him know its ok

The position thing probably does indicate his intent during the movie. However, the hand brushing up against your arm thing is probably nothing to put too much thought into.
