Like you see them from a distance, but you don’t really know them and there is just a sort of mysterious attraction that you have for them, but it Is something that you just can’t quite put your finger on or explain exactly why.
This especially happens to me at big parties where my eye will catch someone that I am instantly attracted to and then it is hard for me to stop looking toward them in a way that is not obvious, of course, but still, I can't stop.
Maybe you have this compulsion to dance with them or be held in their arms, or you just long to talk with, or laugh with, or charm them somehow to get to know them better?
Am I the only one that has ever felt this way?

Have you ever been drawn to a girl, or a guy, because they had a mysterious magnetic attraction?
I already had a boyfriend (my 1st bf) when I first took notice of an incredible-looking guy that other girls in school were going gaga for. I had been observing him from a distance and occasionally watching him walk by. He was gorgeous.
Before our senior year ended, he was introduced to me. I remember the elation I felt deep inside but refrained from exposing my crush on him because I was already taken & going steady with someone else. This handsome "studmuffin" just made it worse for me when he spoke. He sounded so intelligent, so impressive, so respectable, so respectful. And, his voice was deep & soothing.
Fast forward 30 years later... I'm still mesmerized by this "Adonis" after all these years! He's my husband now... I married him last summer after exclusively dating on-and-off-and-on for over 25 years. <3

Yes. I had the feel as we started to talk, we have been together in another life and that we longed for each other very long time. This was on emotional level very attractive and I never felt something like that before. It wasn't sexual because no one of us both tried to appear sexy, just relaxed, funny and friendly Maybe it was the LSD ticket we took before, maybe the weed we smoked at this after hour party, but it has been mutual and this is one of the most open talks I had in my life with another person.
Yes this has happened to me, only a few times in my life... First time it happened, I married her. It has happened a couple more times, I was completely taken and mesmerized by her beauty so much that I couldn't focus on anything else. I am still married so I didn't act on it. Anyway, happens all the time. Perfectly normal, perfectly natural. I refer to it as a "carnal attraction" that can't really be explained.
The problem is that most such attractions are rarely mutual.
My first girlfriend was one, but I think we just met too early in life. She was trying to mature while I was trying to keep my youth.
Girl in high school that I was absolutely infatuated with for no real reason, don't remember exactly how we connected. I think I just saw her at a distance in some class, and then I helped her with something and she became a really good friend, always spending time between classes together, and then we had the falling out after I asked her out. But decades later she's on my mind.
YES! It happens rarely but to this day I still haven't forgotten those 5 guys. There was this one who had grey eyes but like really silver grey light eyes and was wearing all black with his hood on, it was a rainy day and I completely forgot about opening back my umbrella when I saw him, I just stood there staring thinking I was having a vision or something. Another one I remember being out with friends downtown and suddenly feeling like I should look back and when I did, I saw him in the distance staring and... I just felt an attraction like my body NEEDED to get closer to him just to look and feel that connection. It's weird coz he was actually far away really but our eyes connected and I felt something tear in me when my friends pushed me back on our way not letting me get to him.
I know that feeling, it's amazing how attractions like that work!

yea. I am super shy and have a simple personality whatsoever unless rarely I can accidentally be funny but, unfortunately have no control over. I have met people who I noticed are so compex and interesting and I would love to just be in their presence forever just to listen to how they act and speak. But that requires them to be interested in me as well but I am just too boring to be around and it sometimes sucks. Also, I have tried to work on my personality overtime, and yes! i am getting better each day but it is nothing compared to the people are just a naturale at being social and completely complex being thats forever beyond me :')
I voted A : however I don't really go the word magnetic People aren't magnets ie + and - attraction N S etc you get the drift. I had brief conversations with a girl at work about a lot on topics we were both interested in. She gave me a few hot tips of videos to watch on youtube and I did and we would discuss them at work in the tea room. The funny thing was in between doing work in a call centre type environment I use to make "wierd" comments on all sorts of things I prefer to say unorthodox. Even one of my team member called me an "enigma" I just replied I cracked that code in a nanosecond. She had picked up on that and I think that's why she started talking to me. Anyway I really wanted to get to know her outside of the office. All of a sudden she stopped coming to work. I found out later "They had to let her go" I was sad :(
I voted A. I'm a total romantic and I find things I love in everyone I meet. Unfortunately, I have to fight myself to not have crushes on everyone, lol. I'm most attracted to a sense of humor, so if someone is being funny, I'm moth to a flame to them. People tell me I'm magnetic and people are drawn to me in a similar way, but never has anyone had a crush on me since high school (which I discovered years later).
I met 2 girls like that in college. One I ended up kind of dating/seeing and it turned out horribly, and the other put off some seriously cold and weird vibes after awhile of being friends, so I stopped pursuing (pursue is the wrong word, but I don't have a better one) her.
I think what drew me was this fantastic scent that they both had. They were Indian girls, and the both had this sexy warming smell. It was partly from the food they ate, but they also had sweet, fruity smells that drove me crazy. One was a dime, the other was not that hot (just being honest), but I found her irresistible all the same.

Yes!!! I feel this way about a guy that works at my job. What’s funny is, he’s the emo, goth punk type of guy and I’m the TOTAL complete opposite, I’m super girly and feminine I love make up and stuff. We work in different departments (at a hotel) but every time we interact there’s definitely an unspoken chemistry between us that even I know he is aware of. I do keep my distance because both of us are in a relationship. (I know, I’m sorry.) but, when we do interact it’s very playful banter between us. There’s definitely a high degree of sexual attraction but again, we keep a safe distance. I totally know what this feeling is, a very strong magnetic attraction.
There are two ways I can be attracted to someone in that sense. Where I am way more highly attracted to women just based off their attire. I am more attracted to certain attires. The other way is by their personality. My last crush was one of those two things and she usually wouldn't be my type because she is a single mother. But here other features were attractive enough for me to overlook that single mother thing. She was really petite and completely flat chested which I am not attracted to, but she wore glasses which I am really attracted to and I really liked her personality. That's why I fell in love with her.
I had that a while back with a coworker but she was completely asexual so no chance of there ever being a thing. She was good company though and a total introvert as I am to we actually had a lot of fun hanging out together. I mean I have figured her out to a degree and I think she did me to but I think some mystery remained. I think we'd still be friends it she hadn't moved away.
Not in the same way you described it but yes I was once attracted to a girl for no explanable reason. Only I actually talked to her and then ended up liking her even more, but we never got the chance to date and I still wish something had happened differently. You don't always meet someone who strikes your five senses all at once.
Perhaps more like B in my case, and if I get drawn to someone it's usually up close where I have more information to work with and at least get an idea of why I'm drawn to them, not from a distance. I also devote a lot of time trying to put my finger on things I don't understand. Not sure if I succeed but I come up with some viable conjectures for why including some which stick. It's never a complete mystery to me.
I suspect these things are still in the realm of imagination and fantasy. Different things trigger imagination and fantasy for different people. I still have it and can get deeply imaginative and curious to get closer and know more about a woman, but we usually have to interact a lot in my case before I start getting carried away with the imagination. The mysterious stranger gives me too little to work with in my case to kickstart that sort of side that is prone to daydream.
I would think that we all probably have at one time or another. I tried to think if there was a certain element that triggers it for me, and while this isn't always the case, I would say it is usually me being swept up by her eyes. They call them the "windows to the soul".
So if a girl has unique, maybe exotic eyes that draw me in, I am definitely intrigued.
Of course , we see someone that gives us butterflies and feel that they are meant to be in our arms , attraction is an amazing thing , it’s a gut instinct that just happens , I know I just inboxed her this morning 😊
Yes, I've been attracted to a few different girls. Never gone very far with them, if at all but definitely had a kind of cosmic connection as it were, to different people. I do want to try and explore that, but there's always that big leap of doing it, and I definitely want to do it "before I die".. if I can, but it's just.. Who do I do it with? That used to happen to me all the time. I believe it's called "hormones" when you're younger, "being horny" as you get older (still hormones) and "mysterious attraction" when all else fails. :)
Yes, I didn't act on it, I tested the waters for a few months, so there true natural would so itself. Once it did, I was hoping that her natural was pure. It was toxic and I got out of there.
