How to ask out a shy girl at work?

She seems super shy. Randomly helping and not talking. Waiting for me at my routine spots and gigling. When I approach her though she starts shaking and scratching her self kinda crazy. Anyways, what's the best I can do her cause she is a keeper

Sorry, but unless you are willing to risk your job, my advise is to steer clear of any and all workplace pussy. Shy? they won't be shy when they describe your sexual abuse to the HR director. BTDT and have I still the scars (35 years later) to show for it.

Every job is different. If they’re aloud to date, then what’s the problem? As long as they respect each other, don’t go all PDA in the office, then it’ll be fine.

Then get to know her. Hang out with her a fee times in the office (if ya can). But don’t be too in-her-face if you know what I mean. Since she’s very shy, she might shut down. Take it easy; it’s ok.

This is the most strange situation I've had. Maybe you have inside or she's playing a game. It's a labour job. She jumps to help. Runs away. Doesn't respond. Then comes and says hi and shakes like crazy. Then stares from far away. Sometimes smiling and sometimes upset. I'm at the point where my heart is racing cause I don't know what's going on. I'm tempted to slip my number on a card. Maybe it's easier for her to text or maybe my ego is gonna make things worse. I don't know

She might just be very shy and doesn’t know how to handle the situation or maybe something else is going on lol.

Do you go up to her and she gets all nervous and walks away? If so, maybe write her a letter/email (if it’s possible).

Asking her out is obviously an option. But as someone who is shy (myself) don’t be so blunt. You have to take it easy. Sometimes you even have to be friends with us first before asking us out because it makes us feel a lot better.

She’ll probably won’t feel that comfortable and won’t talk so much on a date. It’ll be awkward. Get to know her first if you haven’t already. Invite her to lunch as a friend, help her with something, etc.

She’ll slowly start opening up the more she gets used to you. She might even show another side of herself that might surprise you. ALL of us shy girls do.

Somebody said that if she’s shy, it means she likes you. That’s not entirely true.

It sounds like she probably likes you and since she's shy you know she's probably never going to ask you out. Just be upfront with her. Casually ask her out to go do something when she's the only one around. What's the worse that can happen?
