What's the best way to make a girl miss you?

So me and my girlfriend broke up about two weeks ago. We have been dating for two years. How do I make her miss me? We have been playing the ignoring game for awhile now. Do I keep ignoring her? I bothered her the first couple days after we broke up which I know was a bad idea.

She has only been contacting me to tell me that she has been sleeping out at another guys house, but he is only a friend and they never did anything at all. She also won't give me back my stuff and is putting it off.

In my opinion, why contact me to tell me this if you don't care about me. And unfortunately I responded to the text messages like an ass. How do I go about making her miss me and how do I respond?

I forgot to mention that there was one day where she texted me saying she still loves me but can't take me back right now. And then ignored me ever since.

You want me to be honest dude? Leave it. Don't try contact her and if she wants to get back she WILL get in contact with you. If no contact is made within 3 weeks, contact her and lay it all on the table. My old Girlfriend broke up with me with a similar reason 'I love you but I can't take you back now' I reacted the complete WRONG way and tried to get her to change her mind/Miss me/always texting her and in the end it drove her away. She actually said in the end I just made her decision more so the right one with my behavior and before I started the behaviour(1 week after we split) she was really missing me and was considering contacting me/ So wait it out man, It might seem really hard, I've been there done that and caved but stick it out. The worst thing you can do is try undermine her decision and seem to pushy to want her back. My ex revealed to me recently that she cried for a week solid(after she broke up with me) because she missed me so much but she 'had to be away from me for now'. Turns out she thought she was gonna make me fail my exams and didn't want to be the cause lol Trust me dude give her some space, don't contact her friends. Leave subtle hints on Facebook maybe that you are missing her but don't contact her directly. If it's meant to be, she will come back. Good luck man :)

Do you realize how conceited you sound? "What's the best way to make a girl miss you?" She broke up with you for good reason. What makes you think you're the end all be all for her? I'd suggest you move on and find that spark you had in your ex in a new girl. Doors close. Others open. If you keep trying the first door, you will be blinded to all the other opportunity out there. I broke up with my girlfriend recently, so it's not like I'm just being some sort of philosophizer. Also, don't just ignore her like some sack of beans. There's still the possibility to remain friends, and maybe you'll even become something more again in the future. But for right now, just remember not to burn down bridge, but also cross other rivers.

I'd stay away from all these mind games. You broke up for a reason. Give yourselves some space and some time. Don't continue responding to her text messages. She said she doesn't want to be with you right now. And you constantly responding to her or trying to get her attention makes it seem like nothing has changed. Give her the chance to miss you, if you're always there, then nothing has changed. After awhile, let her know you still miss her. Awhile doesn't mean a few hours or a few days; it means a few weeks.

Yeah I am now starting to realize this hahaha. I always go into the day until about 11 pm and then I contact her. I haven't made it a full day yet. Its just so hard. Do you think there's actually another guy?

Loool! I have no clue, I don't know her. But don't start speculating! It could be anything, it could be another guy, or maybe she's just PMSing etc. I really don' t know and you don't either, so don't start jumping to conclusions. There are so many possibilities and they'll just drive you crazy.

It's impossible to "make" somebody miss you. Only they are in control of their own feelings for another person. However, like others have said, just cutting yourself out of her life (even just temorarily) should help. Since you two have been together for long enough to make a dent in her life, your sudden absense should be a large change in her life and you may miss you in a response to that.

She's playing games. Don't sink to her level. Just send her a long text, cards in the table, saying how you feel. At the end of the day you broke up for a reason, so just make your feelings 100% clear, ask her to do the same, and then you can begin to discuss what went wrong and how to fix it , or both walk away and stop screwing with each others emotions.

Yeah true. I kind of made the mistake of bothering her at first and she was ignoring me. And then I said some stupid replies to her text messages about another guy. I said things like "Well he's not better than me"...made me look stupid and weak now that I think about it

she is just playing mind games with you and I think she needs attention from you...did you give her less attention prior to the break up? I think its an attention technique what I suggest you is that completely avoid ignore her texts calls and stuff..that will bring her back to the track..and tell her to her face that if she gets back with you then its good otherwise you don't need updates about her life from her...

Actually now that I look back, I did give her less attention before we broke up. The relationship wasn't going so hot. No arguments, just a lot of ignoring and doing nothing.

yup so she is doing it for attention..thats what my other friend did and she wasn't even seeing anyone...he was doing the same exact thing that you are doing now..just say sorry to her and be like u'll like to give it one more chance..if she says no then start ignoring her...

Honestly don't play games with girls. She maybe had some reasons on why and regret her decision. Girls miss boys just as much as she may miss you. Just be honest with her but if you try to play games just don't be the first one to contact her, it makes us girls go crazy

Whatever she liked about you, you present it to her or flaunt it. For example, if she loved your body, wear a really tight shirt or a muscle shirt when you see her. If she likes your smell, wear that cologne when you see her.

2 years wow.. big deal.. I think the best option is talk it out. If she texted you saying she loves you is because she does.. if she not she would just ignore you.. or at least I think so.. or maybe she just want some time to clear things up.. you know.. see if she still misses you. Hahaha does this work? Right now I am talking to one of her friends but I didn't start it. I don't feel right doing it though. Is this not a good idea? I've gotten back with one of my old exs using this strategy by talking to her friends and she came back to me crying.

Just ignore her. if she is still trying to contact you then she still has feelings for you. if you keep ignoring her and it will get to her and mess with her. she will start second guessing herself and wondering if you really have moved on.
