Guys, What would you think if a girl you liked did this?

So I'm leaving my job soon to go back to school full time. But while I was there I made some friends and one of my coworkers I think might have a crush on me. Since I've worked there he's always complimented me on my hair style, outfit, or he'd say things like, "you're amazing."and I'd say "no I'm not" in a joking way. And I just had a feeling that he was a little attracted to me. As time passed I started to have a crush on him as well? So yesterday I left a little note where I know he'd find it, and only him because we both do the same job and the day that I'm off he takes over. Anyway the note said, "you're amazing" and I was in a happy goofy mood when I wrote it. Today I'm wondering if it was a dumb idea lol... If you liked a girl and she did that what would you think of it?

No it’s a good idea be glad that you did that sooner or later he will respond unless he didn’t get it at all would’ve there was a maid that came around and was cleaning things up. I think you should ask him later did you get the note that I left you?

So the note was in a place that requires a key that only he'd have when he got to work so I know he got it. I'm just nervous about how he's gonna react when I come back to work. I'm kinda shy lol but thanks for the reply
