You can be average is still have all of that, I'm sure.

If you have confidence and a goal in mind, you can work towards it.

If you can choose one guy whom is friendly to you, and you guys get along... why not take the jump to make it real? Just ask him if he would like you to be his girlfriend. I'm sure he'll say yes if it is the right guy. If not, just keep going. I have a guy and I"m average. My guy is also tall, in shape and super smart. He has a career and everything.

If you are only average, you can always enhance your beauty with a bit of makeup. make up does nobody any harm and I am totally pro makeup. It just makes you feel better about yourself. I love all the michelle phan make up tutorials on youtube.

You can make people envy you even if you are only average looking. Just make yourself feel more happier, more confident and a person with good personality/swag and charisma. Some gorgeous people don't have charisma. you can pick it up. Nex titme you walk into a room just say, I am adorable and I am lovely and then walk up to people with a huge smile and introduce yourself. Compliment them honestly and be genuine in all your praise. See what kind of result you will get. Usually people will be nice to you if you are nice to them, even if you aren't a 10 on the gorgeous scale. Because not a lot of people are a 10, and those who are still can be nice to you (if they are a b*tch then forget them, just shake it off).

and WHO CARES if people do not envy you. As long as you are living the life you want, then who cares. Like if you have that job with 6 figures, you are healthy, you have a husband and a nice home, who cares if no one is dying to look like you. Because frankly, looks are not everything.

Why don't you want to be a "nicer" person instead of a more beautiful person? I think there are a ton of self help books to learn how to be a nicer person so you can have more friends, and therefore have more time in your life to do things.

Here's a true example: My sister is gorgeous like a 9.5, I'm like average like a 8.5. My sister got boyfriends when she was 13, I never had a boyfriend until I was 23. But my sister is a mean, compulsive liar, and manipulates people to get her way. She ends up divorced, with a kid and no friends. Her family hates her for her bad reputation. I end up married, with a good husband and pretty happy with my life with friends, and all my family loves me. I have a good reputation. See what I mean? How nice you are, how good of a reputation you have, and where you end up in life is more important than looks.

from how people treat me and respond to me, I've come to understand that I am an attractive girl.

it isn't at all what it's cracked out to be.

a) no one takes me seriously.

b) guys like me because of the way I look. I would LOVE it, if a guy took the time to know me first and grew to like me and want me...but that's never happened. they only want one thing from me.

c) I get hit on by men in a disrespectful manner, called all sorts of things that I don't think I deserve.

d) everyone assumes that I'm shallow and superficial and bitchy JUST based on the way I looked.

e) I'm never really sure if people like me for ME or because of the way I look... people like to surround themselves with pretty things, and sometimes, I feel just like that. something pretty to look at. something that hangs on a wall.

just remember... even the sun casts a shadow.

I believe every girl is beautiful in her own way. Just because you think someone is beautiful does not mean they think they are. You may think your not but someone more than likely thinks you are. You just may not know it. Everyone has things they don't like about themselves and no one is perfect. Don't let what other girls have bother you because there are probly a million things they would change about themselves. Trust me I have known plenty of pretty girls but the minute they open their mouth to talk they suddenly become the ugliest person ever. I used to think the same way you do but I learned to just work with what I have and I got some confidence and I get a lot more attention from guys then I used to. It really all comes down to your self image and once you see that pretty girl inside of you that has been there all along you get what your heart desires.

What does it feel like waking up every morning and seeing your own beautiful reflection? Great. I rock what I've got. I may be overweight, but I know that my soul is beautiful and that shines through whatever physical blemishes I have. Give yourself that confidence. Don't you love yourself for who you are?

What does it feel like to feel everybody's envy and feel like the world is your oyster? I'm not everyone's envy, but I do envy lots of other calm, patient people. I am sure that no one is. As my friend says, 'Appearance is only 1% of who we are, and like Longshot said below, only the beautiful people on the inside can truly retain friends and find true connections. And, I'm reminded of the Christina Perri song, Penguin - 'It's fate, like a Soul Mate, He's your Penguin."

Ah, but you are. See, you can't attract love until you love yourself. You have to accept who you are, strengths, the 'eh' stuff and the flaws. YOU are you for a reason, and, believe it or not, YOU chose this life and this body and this experience.

You're beautiful for who you are. Yes, don't believe me. It's fine. But, all of us are beautiful in our own way. There are things about yourself that you are proud of. That list is ever expanding. Now, rock what you got, smile and laugh. I will give 2 true stories. I went out on 2 dates with the most beautiful girl on campus. She was # 1 and just plain drop dead gorgeous. Nothing came of it. She was ugly on the inside. She never got a true Boyfriend until her senior year. And the guy was like her -- a jerk.

I worked with a woman who was one of the homeliest people I know. BUT she out-dressed her female colleagues; her makeup was perfect; she was very capable at her job; she was always ready to help; she was smart; always had something positive to say; management often sought her opinion; she was self confident without being egotistical; and always had a smile. because of her inner beauty, she just looked better than she looked. Everyone was happy to see her coming down the hallway. Especially the guys.

The very few truly natural beautiful girls I have seen in my life, they seem to have it very rough. I remember this one girl in one of my classes at school. One guy would just creepily STARE at her the entire class, every class, for like an hour. Yeah, she really was that beautiful. But that kind of thing has got to get old. And the prettiest girl in my group of friends, at least 90% of girls hated her and would be mean to her or try to start crap with her. She was a sweet girl, but they were just jealous of her looks and the fact that she got the most male attention.

Sure looks can get you noticed, get you some attention, and get you some things you want, but I think overall, spellbinding beauty is more of a curse than a blessing.

there are a series of books called "Flowers in the Attic" by Virginia Andrews. They are based on a true story and basically this woman is amazingly beautiful, exactly how you describe, but it ruins her life in lots of ways. Loads of men fall in love with her but she is never truly happy with it and she make loads of mistakes, everyone she loves turns against her and she ends up alone and miserable. Then she smashes all her mirrors and wears a veil and black robe so no-one can see her beauty that ruined her life. Sounds pretty morbid but they really help you realize the important things in life and actually changed my life:D

As someone else said beauty like that doesn't really exist but confidence like that kind of does. I mean people tell me I'm beautiful and I defiantly know girls envy me but in all honesty it sucks because people just assume that you are ditzy and dumb, shallow or self obsessed. Also its hard to live up to your own standard for instance I'll have a week were my skin and hair are perfect and the week after if I have a pimple or fuzzy hair its like oh and your confidence kind of depends on it.

I stay far from good looking girls. They are usually swollen-headed and treat the average guy like dirt. Also, they know they can manipulate you, and often try to do it.
