I’ve always wondered what the difference is between a guy who hits on you, adds you on Snapchat , flirts and acts interested and has no intentions VS a guy who, when you approach him, he says “I see you more as a friend”?
The first guy you have there is someone who enjoys messing with another's mind and is bored. He likes to run game and probably is a good Sales guy. Having you doting over him is more than enough attention for him.
The second guy could really like you and be insecure and immature or he really just wants to be friends.

Either that he’s not attracted to you, not interested in casual stuff/playing around or that he’s just a more honest person.
One includes wanting sex and one doesn’t.
