Just ask her out, who cares. As one you have nothing to lose and two don’t let this male roommate give you second thoughts or effect your confidence. To be fair just assume they had sex, but remember she said roommate so that means they are not dating. Plus they could be really good childhood friends.
The worst that can happen is she says no. Go on your got this! Go be… I mean get the girl!
