How to control my urges to shoot my shot at my cousin in law?

I’ve had a secret crush on her since we were children. And since we’ve been adults I feel like we secretly have flirted with each other over social media. I saw her yesterday and i still want to secretly mess with her at least one time. The only thing that have stopped me from actually trying is me never wanting other people in our family to know if we did do something or if I completely misread things and she tells everyone. So how do I control my urge?
