Does liking every Instagram Story mean she might be interested?

There's a girl at my highschool that I like, and we are both in the same year level, but we don't have any classes, or genuinely pretty much anything like in common outside of some friends.

She followed me first on instagram, and has a a decently higher follower amount, compared to following, something like 900 followers and 600 following. I thought nothing much of it because the everybody was just starting to get to know eachother in our year level. But I recently went on a trip to Thailand, and I uploaded things to my story, and she liked every single photo I posted, not a single one skipped, even when I dumped like 12 photos, she liked every single one.

We aren't close like friendship wise unlike some other girls that liked my story, and we've never talked like, in real life, or over text, so the only plausible excuse, is that she likes every single story when she opens instagram.

I'm completely stumped on what to do here, because i'm decently shy, but can be loud with my friends, and I have had genuinely zero romantic interactions with girls, pretty much ever except for very few and very little circumstances.

I wouldn't assume she's definitely interested, but honestly, I wouldn't ignore it either. Following you first and then liking every single story, especially 12 in a row when you two don't even talk, could mean she's curious about you or at least paying more attention to you than the average person.

But Instagram likes aren't enough to know for sure. Some people really do like everything they see.

Since you're shy, I wouldn't make some huge confession or anything. Just start small. Reply to one of her stories when there's something natural to respond to. Even something simple about a place, music, food, or whatever she posted. If she keeps the conversation going and starts asking you questions or messaging you herself, that's a much stronger sign.

You don't need to figure out whether she likes you before talking to her. Just give her a chance to get to know you. That's probably the easiest way to find out without making things awkward. 🙂

Liking a social media story does not have to mean that the person liking a particular picture or story is interested in the poster.

Rather, that person may be interested in the material itself only because of a particular like or connection with what has been posted and less with the person posting the content.

I would suggest you contact that woman and ask her directly if you have a chance with her or what her reason for liking your stories are. That would be the most effective way and it would enable you to get a clear picture and avoid to have to guess.
