I can laugh about silly things a long time too, it just shows your enthusiasm, I don't get why everyone would become that mad about it.
And why would it show stupidity, clearly you were really laughing then if you couldn't stop so it was no fake laughing so no, it is obviously no stupidity.
Actually it is their stupidity to say it is so lame because you're just enjoying something and they'r e ruining your atmosphere and fun time, whereas you're really just adding to the atmosphere like that.
the only thing that probably counts here is that your friends started to feel scared or embarassed and that's how that happened but then you should be the one to tell them that they shouldn't be because there's really no reason to at all.
And in the end that, then, was probably caused by a group not knowing each other that well yet.
I don't think your crush will think you're stupid...

That happens to me all the time! I was in class with my crush, and he just glanced at me with a dorky grin, and I burst out laughing uncontrollably until the teacher made me sit across the room from him :( It was so embarrassing.
the teacher was like "if you just can't control yourself around him- I'm going to move you" *FACEPALM**
Ha ha! That's funny! Hey, it could have been worse! Laughing is way better than frowning or being serious! =)
Guys like when we laugh at their jokes even if their lame , it's probably no big deal.

Too bad it wasn't Dane Cook telling a joke, you wouldn't have laughed at all.
