I can't stop thinking about her.

I'm a senior in high-school and there is this great girl in my precal class. I love talking to her as much as I can and she talks to me also. There is something about this girl that makes me feel like I have never felt before. When I'm in class with her its like nothing else matters in the whole world, when I'm not in class with her all I want is to talk to her, see her face and that beautiful smile. I'm definitely going to ask her out, but my question is, is it possible to be in love with someone you have only really known for like 6 months and have never even dated. Again I have never felt like this about a girl and feel like I'm in love, I can't stop thinking of her and just the thought of her gives me a huge rush of emotions like happiness, fear, the want to cry etc. Please help in any way, thanks.

Well, you're definitely infatuated with her. It's normal to think about her a lot. Has she shown any interest in you? If so, then for sure you can ask her out. If you're not sure that she's interested, flirt with her a little more and try to gauge her interest based on her reactions. She talks to you, so that's a good sign. It doesn't necessarily mean that she has a crush on you too, though. But if you ask her out, her answer will certainly let you know how she feels and then you will know where you both stand.

I think you could be in love. Love in first sight maybe? It's possible! I hardly knew this guy and I really liked him, and when he got a girlfriend I was heartbroken. But that's different, I was 13 :p ask her out and see how well the date goes. c:

Yes it is. People confuse being in love with loving. Being in love is just a serious state of infatuation.

It's when you meet a particular girl and for a period of time (could be weeks, or months usually) for no reason, (or maybe with reason) you love everything about her and think she's perfect and that you'll spend the rest of your life with her even if you haven't known her that long. Don't lose heart, it can turn into real love if she's into it as well and you both work at it
