Going with crush to cinema- how do I act about it?

Well basically I asked the girl I really like to the cinema and I let her choose the film and she said she would meet me near the cinema we were going to so I just agreed. So on Sunday I'm meant to be going to watch this movie with her, but I don't know what I should do or say during the movie. Should I talk to her or let her enjoy the film? I don't want to make things awkward for either of us, but I want it to go well so she might see that I'm a great guy that he should be with or something like that. It will just be me and her, I offered her to ask someone else along if she wanted but she didn't want to. I know on TV that guys are smooth and try to get their arm round the girl, but I'm not that smooth and I don't know how she would react to that.

Okay, so:

If you are getting candy/popcorn/etc. Use that as a flirting tool. However you desire... but for example, you can pretend like she doesn't get any, feed it to her in a silly way, try and throw it into your mouth and fail (make her laugh) or whatever else works.

If the center arm rest is down, lean over it a little bit, or put your arm under it (so either you are letting her have the arm rest or you are holding hands underneath) And if it is up, then you can scoot over a little (not to make her uncomfortable) and if it starts to head in that direction, she can lean on you or you can sit against each other (use your imagination. lol) you can always do the whole "yawn nonchalantly and then put your arm around her" like in the movies, but PLEASE only do this if it is like a joke, because that is the corniest thing ever if you are actually trying to be smooth. lol

Don't talk during the movie unless you have to. Not only will this distract her from the movie, but it will annoy others and it will be quite embarrassing for you if your date is peppered with lots of "SHHHH"s and grunts...

If it is a romantic movie, watch her during the romantic parts. (obviously not in a creepy way, just like you are admiring her or something.) make eye contact and smile. Don't look at her in the sad parts (she will be embarrassed if you see her cry...) but offer your hand or something for comfort.

Any other movie might be a bit easier. Laugh with her at the funny parts and make eye contact like you are sharing the joke. Hold her hand in scary parts. Laugh with her if there's horrendously fake blood spurting 5 miles out of a zombie attack victim... you get the idea.

Also, remember the movie. She most likely will, and it will give you something to talk about when the movie is over. See if she will take a walk with you afterward. Where I live, the movie theater is in a pretty part of downtown, so it's a great place to walk around. If not, you can always go for dinner or ice cream or something after and discuss your favorite parts of the movie. Don't try and make a move too soon unless she seems to want it.

First thing's first: she said yes to going to the movies with you. Second : you gave her the option to bring someone along. So she's not being forced to go, and didn't bring friends along to bail her out if thing's go wrong. That means that she's, most probably, into you as well. Forget what you see on television. There are some true and untrue things on air, and we just won't go into what is and isn't. The arm around the girl bit ? It is kinda corny ? But if you want, forget smooth or whatever, just put your arm around her. Her reaction or lack of reaction should tell you if it's alright or not. And don't talk too much during the movie, since you are, in fact, there to see a movie. But if she says something to start a conversation, talk with her. Try to make eye contact at some point in the movie and smile at her. Those are little things that will let her know you like her and that even though you are watching the movie, you are still thinking about her. (:

Watch the damn movie like you would with your best friend. Except your best friend that you want to make out with. Yeah, OK, there's a distinction there...but don't overcomplicate things.
