would you kiss, cuddle, hold hands with your partner in front of your family or friends? or in public?

I've never had a boyfriend but I think I would be too shy to do any of that in front of my family or friends... I'd get embarrassed lol.

I don't care who I'm in front of. I really love my guy and he really loves me and we only don't kiss in front of my younger siblings. But in front of friends or family or teachers or random strangers in public, we've kissed and hugged and held hands without any problems. I'm just showing him how much I love him. If people feel weird about it, then they can just turn their head and not stare at us, IMHO. You may change your mind, because at first I was too shy to kiss him in front of anybody.

.. well, I think holding hands is cute :3.. its really okay to do that in public because you're in a relationship. and I think guys won't stay long with you if you're gonna be sweet to them.. but remember, don't do PDA( public display of affection) too much because it kinda looks disgusting.. haha..

Personally no. I'm not much into PDA. But when you're in that situation you may change your mind and get lost in the moment. So don't say you don't think you will just yet.

Yea but I don't think that has much to do with PDA honestly. Some people just aren't into publicly displaying affection period. There is no urge to control.

Absolutely, I wouldn't know how not to, if she stoped me showing affection, we wouldn't be together long, because it would just be like a friendship, not a relationship, so I always kiss her in public and hold hands or have my arm round her, its the norm,x

Yeah absolutely, I mean, I wouldn't suck her face of or grope her, but I would kiss her and flirt with her and mess around in a fun way regardless of my mum being around, I don't see as why you wouldnt, having those kind of boundaries are daft because your putting up barriers, as long as its respectable, there's no wrong doing,x

Yeah I understand that, but keeping it respectful, people will just see you as a mature couple playing around, they won't judge you as inapprpriate, so don't worry what others feel or what you think they may feel, because its normal, but its also kinda cute that you do get shy, it will spur him on because your shy to be honest,x

yeah I know they wouldn't judge me for being inappropriate... but I am very shy and I've never had a boyfriend before (im 22) and I know my friends and family would fuss over me and think it's cute if I did get a boyfriend... I would be embarrassed to show any affection in front of them lol even just holding hands...

I don't know why, because it shows to him and everyone else that your not embarrassed to be with them and that your serious about them, so maybe if you get the oppurtunity, just randomly kiss him, it really will surprise you how easy it becomes after that, good luck,x

No you might feel embarraaed, but they won't embarrass you, they will think it is normal behavior as long as its not constant kissing and touching, because to much can become a bit of a show at times, but the odd kiss or just sitting there with holding hands or cuddling is absolutely normal, you need to gain confidence and to do this, you need to do it at least once, you will then realise, its OK, there's nothing to it,x

yeah they will embarrass me... they have never seen me with a guy before and I'm a really shy girl... they will be like "aww cute" and make embarrassing comments... I'm not usually affectionate towards anyone lol

Yeah but that's just sweet, because its the first time they have seen you show affection, it will be a nice moment for them to see, and being shy really is something nice for a guy to see, so for you not to show affection, could make him feel as if he isn't good enough for you to show him your affection, so really, you need to be brave and just do it, even if its just once, just to show him you care, us guys are sensitive as well at times lol,x

Friends yes, family no. In front of friends or in public generally, holding hands, hugging or kissing sometimes is very nice.

I would do it around my family too, but my dad tends to be a bit overprotective, so I rather don't

There is nothing wrong with showing affection in public, but whether it is to an extreme is a different story..
