Help? I regret sending this text to my crush?

Ok so yesterday around 10 pm my guy friend (whose also my crush) & I were texting. I like him a lot but sadly he has a girlfriend already. We were having a great convo, all was good.. until I texted him something I really regret now. I sent him this text cause of my older friend; she advised me to stop texting him cause he has a girlfriend & so I trusted her.

So this is how it went..

Me: So yeah.. I've been thinking about something

Him: Which is

Me: I don't think we should keep texting anymore

Him: Um OK why

Me: Because I don't think your girlfriend would like it

Him: ? But were just friends

Me: I know but still

Him:Um OK I guess

Me: I'm just thinking its not right.. well anyways I'm a go 2 sleep now so night

After that he didn't text back. ow I feel like I should have said "I don't think we should text as much" or something along those lines cause I really don't want to stop talking to him.

So what should I do now?Should I just apologize & tell him I still want to talk to him or what?

There's no reason you can't text him as much as always now that he has a girlfriend... now you've screwed it up with him. Nice work

Well I already apologized to him & luckiliy he accepted it, so yeah it it actually was nice work.
