Girls, do you ever flirt by being a "smartass"?

Its just odd. This girl is so nice to everybody but she is just so sarcastic and a smartass towards me. We have a lot of fun doing it but she never lets up, she is always on smartass mode when she talks to me. I noticed she can't stop smiling or she turns away when I make her laugh, but she keeps telling me I'm not funny at all. Is flirting by sarcasm possible?

I am a sarcastic smartass sometimes, I don't mean to be. ANd sometimes it is more a friendthing than it is a flirting thing. I have only a few friends I can talk like that with. BUT I enjoy that time more than anything. I just enjoy the quick witted humor, and the 'realness factor' when everything isn't sugar coated and superficial. I have so much fun hanging out with someone who can give it back to me, and make me laugh. So when I meet someone who can play along with me.. it probably gets carried away. I just like to laugh. In my opinion, I woud rather have a guy who had a great sense of humor and could crack me up... than whisper sweet nothings into my ear.. that sjust me though.

I don't try to be a smartass but that is sometimes the way it comes out...

When I'm nervous maybe even more so.

I'm a sarcastic smartass but I think my level of sarcasm goes up with someone I am interested in heh. I treat him a bit different...but I also get told I'm flirty, so I probably flirt in other ways, aside from being super sarcastic w/him

I have been called a smartass many times before. I'm not exactly sure what I do that makes me a smartass when flirting, though. This girl is grabbing your attention. She's obviously interested in you.

Absolutely. I like a guy who can challenge me intellectually, so if I make a smart comment, I want him to make one back. The back and forth is very fun and honestly, a huge turn on.

Yea all the time...not like she does tho I let up after a while...but just look at the fact tht she's thwarting you in a special manner...she got a thing for you if she realizes or not

Well, yeah, if I'm cocky I expect that kind of reaction but sometimes it just pops up without merit, its almost like she wants me to "bite" and start some kind of playful argument with her, she is a bit weird lol
