Most attractive musical instrument?

Hey guys and girls, which do you think is the most attractive muscial instrument? These are just rough categories, feel free to specify. Also, why do you find these instruments attractive?

For all those saying guiat and piano are string: I KNOW! HOWEVER,

In a standard rhythm section there are usually: piano, bass, guitar and drums, as they provide the backing for melodic instruments e.g. the saxophone. This is what is meant by a rhythm section so my poll is perfectly valid. I've been playing in bands for the past 17yrs, I know what I'm talking about.

Depends, but it's usually string. And for guys it's usually guitar and for women usually violin. But a great singing voice? Man, that's very attractive too.

Guitar is a string instrument, not a percussion. In fact, technically even the piano is a string instrument. Even though the mallets are hitting a string, the strings are considered strings because it's the strings of the instruments vibrating that determines it as a string instrument.

Both guitar and piano are also classified as rhythm instruments.

True, but they are strings more so :P still, I think it does depend on gender. It seems violin is more attractive for women (petite sweet soothing sounding instrument) where as guitar is more for men (at least culturally). Though, I still think a voice is awesomest.

that's another reason why I separated guitar and violin, I thought if the girls voted for strings it would be guitars and if men did it would be more violins.

Woodwind and string are a tie for me. My two favorite instruments are the saxophone and violin. Maybe it's because those are the two instruments I've wanted to play the most (wish I would have picked up the alto sax instead of the flute), so I love when other people played them.

Piano, cello, guitar and voice probably:) I love the violin, but if it's not played well, it's a horror to listen to- and I have pretty high standards 'cause most of my musician friends are from a music school (yehudi menuin)

Saxophone and Guitar I always wanted to learn to play the Sax but never got the chance I do dabble in a little bit of Guitar though since my dad plays.
