Signs she is giving you the green light to approach?

Question

So Friday, I walk into a bar and went straight to the bar and get a drink. As I was waiting for my pitcher, a girl was right next to me. Waiting to get a drink. She was dancing and singing. We gave each other eye contact and we straight dancing side to side. Gave her some of my drink as she waited for her beer. I talked to her and ask if she was alone. She said no, so I left that alone. She got her beer, but she stood there on her phone. She put it back in her pocket and sat there for a minute then left.

Was she waiting for me to come back and talk to her again? Also, what other signs do you give a guy to approach you?

i wouldn't really worry about that little interaction too much. it's always best to talk with a girl very briefly in a bar or club then walk away and try to socialize with others or take a breather outside. a good solid introduction, a quick joke, then a "see you later" is good enough. then when you see each other again she will remember you in a positive light rather than other dudes that tried to talk her ear off being aggressive.

signs that I mainly look for is eye contact. but even if you don't get that, you can be side by side (like you were) and just randomly say "hey" or "sup" without caring too much, then letting things unfold from there.

Personally, I'd believe that was a green light

Every time I have someone pull out their phone then sit there after an exchange, I usually pick up on that they want to connect more. Even people who are looking for friendship do this, it just shows the person on a subconscious level that you're a social able person and that they may not be afraid to give out contact info to you if asked. I've acted on this plenty of times, with positive results but then again, not everyone understands or are aware of these social gestures and body language we make and pick up on.

She was probably waiting for you to say something. I don't really give concrete "signs" but I guess you could say that I keep eye contact(:.. I'm definitely not shy so that is easier for me. A more shy girl may go on her phone and create some sort of distraction like this for example.

She was waiting for you to ask her who she was with. It's not certain whether she would have brushed you off or smiled and pointed out that she was with her female friends, but the moment is gone. She shouldn't have touched your drink if she wasn't interested in you.

Dude those were like neon flashing signs to approach.  When she said she wasn't alone, she was probably there with girls.  She wouldn't have been dancing with you, drinking your drink, or loitering near you if she wasn't waiting for you to make a move

well if she was with her man maybe that wasn't a green light but she could have been with her girls so you should have took that!
