Asian eyes: attractive or not?

By Asian eyes I mean the typical Chinese/korean/japanese eyes.

Some people seem to like Asian eyes. I myself am Asian and I don't like Asian eyes. I think bigger eyes are way more expressive. Also when it comes to makeup, Asian eyes are such a pain.. especially monolids, Idk, but smokey eyes on monolids just doesn't look as seductive and sexy as smokey eyes on a white girl.

I've got a cousin that did a double eyelid surgery because she was tired of having squinty eyes.

For me, I'm loving my Asian eyes. I'm gifted with almond- double eyelid, and my half French blood gave me long eye lashes.

From far away I look like I'm wearing heavy gothic style eyeliner lol.

Btw there's a lot more you can do with your looks other than your eyes. Like try and have a braided ponytail, see if that will get guys to turn their heads at you :)

Ya, attractive. But so are all eyes. So it's not like Asians have a monopoly on attractive eyes. Really, what makes a pair of eyes attractive would be eyes that are full of life, happiness, and positivity.

And I don't get why some Asian girls want bigger eyes... it makes no sense to me. The fad in various Asian countries to get eye surgery :\ don't be so silly, ladies of the Asian descent. You're fine as you are.

If you can find me the actual concrete proof she did, interesting. But I find someone cute not by their appearance but by their personality. And I do think Michelle Phan (from as far as I can tell from her personality) is cute for that reason. If she's completely different in life? Oh well.

Michelle Phan

She's admitted to botox and chin fillers in a video of hers. She has a whole video dedicated on how to get double eyelid with glue/tape(that you wear at night or something). She has scarring on her nose when you look close up.

Also, one doesn't need medical records to see the difference in her appearance. But I realize, you want to defend her. Because the truth hurts

she has been working out and dieting, so that would explain the slimmer face. Her nose doesn't look any different to me. And she always has double eyelids. And the eyelids thing, that's more of a believe-it-or-not thing.

But hey, if we're denying plastic surgery just to save face, that's cool. I just think it's ironic for some people on here to always rant about hating "fake" girls, let alone defending girls who are fake and have been upfront about what they've done.

She's admitted in a video AND on twitter to getting botox(for the face) AND chin fillers(she gets them done every few months or whatever) and her nose is slimmer than before(without contouring).

I don't care to defend her, I just know a lot of people claim bullsh*t because of jealousy and without any proof. If she admitted it, pity she was so insecure. But she still seems to have a cute personality which is the only thing I've ever really given a damn about. Not like I watch every (or even many) videos of her so no doubt I'd miss her coming out about it. Pity, I don't like fake girls, it screams of insecurity. But it doesn't mean I think they're fake in the worse way, fake in their act.

Well, wide round eyes(on Caucasians) are seen as ideal and youthful, but I think Asian eyes are gorgeous

I recommend watching makeup tutorials from frmheadtotoe, Michelle Phan and Bubzbeauty

I agree... they have good features but not typically Asian features. Make up will always look good on them. QA you're better off with minimal make up.

i think they are attractive. you should look up videos on YouTube on how to do makeup for monolids. there's scores of videos with specific makeup tips to create more dimension.

I have. But the problem is, I don't like how it looks. It looks heavy. I have double lids, but my double lids are so hidden that you can't see my makeup even if I'm wearing any.

so why do smokey at all? it's such a dramatic look... was hot a few years back but I rarely see people do it these days... maybe you need to use more vibrant colors...not greys, blacks browns... shimmer tones will show up really well. try a light gold/light pink shimmer with a simple black liquid eyeliner on the top lid + mascara.

I love them, I think it's actually just a stereotype that Asian girls have small eyes, some Asian girls have absolutely huge eyes. I'm particularly partial towards Japanese girls...

yep some Japanese girls have bigger eyes than, say, Koreans. But also, don't be fooled with makeup and 5 layers of fake lashes! And even the ones with big eyes (according to Asian standards), they're not as big as white girls' eyes)

I think they're cute. Non-Asian eyes may be more expressive, but that doesn't necessary make them look better. Asian eyes usually look cute. That's how I see them.

Korean and Japanese girls have beautiful rainbow slanted /shaped eyes.

They 're nice as long they're not small and sticking too close to the sides of nose.
