Do you find your ex attractive or ugly?

Is it just me? Or a few months after you break up with your ex you suddenly don't find them attractive anymore? And then a few years later just plain ugly?

No my ex actually has gotten better looking since we broke up lol. I think it's because he puts effort into how he dresses now by wearing jeans and a nice t-shirt instead of sweats all the time. I'm glad he changed that. That wasn't becoming lol.

But I still see my ex as being attractive. Just because he broke up with me doesn't mean I think he's suddenly ugly and I hate him. Was a angry for a while after it happened? Yes. But did I hate him? No. And it's immature, imo to hate an ex and think they're magically unattractive just because they don't want to be with you.

Lol, that's true, as time goes by you look at the majority and think they're ugly when at the time you felt they were the most gorgeous human beings. Some I still think they´re hot though. My ex, I still think he's attractive, but it's been only like 2 months and haven't seen him that much since. I hate him though hahaha.

Depends how it ended. One of my exes it ended terribly, and now I can say I can't believe I dated someone who... looks like that. :P

Another one it ended pretty amicably and I still find him attractive, though in a different, more subjective way if that makes sense.

Same. You will always move on & will always get over them. I don't know why that is, I guess time does that but no matter how heart broken or how much I missed them, after time I wonder what the hell the big deal was. A lot of it depends on how you were treated when you parted ways

I can still appreciate that their attractive as I have high standards!

But as the infatuations usually gone I can look at pictures and think hmmmm your not as pretty as I used to think!

My exes are all ugly..

lol I think its cause we saw them a lot during a period of time.. and our perception of the break up mixes in with our perception of them..

but all my exes are ugly yes... one of them is ugly and stupid... worse combo. lol

I think its when the personality makes them look ugly. I know when I find someone has a ugly personality they seem ugly on the outside. That's the way attractiveness should be anyways. I remember when my sister first saw this guy and thought he was really ugly. He had an amazing personality and he was so funny and he just became so attractive!

It's not that they become less physically attracted, it's that you have seen what they're made up of on the inside now. If what you find there makes you want to end the relationship, then yes, they are in a sense going to be more 'ugly' to you, because it's hard to be attracted to someone when you've learned they aren't a good person, or whatever happened btwn you has made your heart cold toward them.

It's just you. Most times, my ex's have realized what they had and wanted me back for many years after it ended. So this is not true for all.

In a shallow kind of way, yes. I always liked his style very much.

But knowing his personality definitely taints my perception of him now.

They weren't ugly but definitely not attractive either. Sometimes I wonder how can I be with someone who look like that.Not to sound conceit but really,after a while I began to realize I deserve someone better.
